Angela Slater

They say that behind every strong man is an even stronger women and Angela has been at Matt's side from the beginning. While he works long hours, Angela keeps the household running, looks after their four children AND manages the company office. She never seems to mind that their home is a constant testing ground for new technology to ensure that products always work the way they were designed when they're installed in clients' homes. Angela loves the industry's creativity and fast pace, that no two jobs are the same and that she can work alongside Matt.

Matt Slater

Matt is passionate about and involved with every aspect of EAV. From sales and project management, to client liaison and business direction, development and growth, Matt wears a multitude of hats. He also helps our team deliver on our clients' dreams, offering advice based on his years of experience in solving problems such as cost control, replacement of legacy systems, regulatory requirements and design challenges. I am a qualified electrician with 20+ years' experience in the electrical industry and ten years working in smart homes.

Mat Powell

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager / Senior Electrician
Mat likes tackling the jobs that others find challenging because he likes to think nothing is impossible in our industry. His work ethic and attention to detail are second to none, one of the many reasons he project manages the companies key projects. He has been an electrician for nearly two decades, and in the audio-visual and automation fields for over 15 years. Mat likes the variety that working in the industry offers as new technology means his work is always changing.

Paul Geenty

Job Titles:
  • Automation Technician
Paul is one of EAV's most experienced team members, with over 20 years in the audio visual industry. Not only does he have a super deep understanding of technology, but Paul is able to explain to clients how to use the gear he installs and programmes for them. He makes the complex easy, removes fear around technology and ensures clients have easy-to-use interfaces. Paul has a gift for finding new technology and for implementing it for in-house use and with clients.

Phil Pottinger

Job Titles:
  • Business Development Manager
Phil is the person who will field your enquiry, meet with you to understand your unique requirements, engineer the best solution for your needs and budget, and manage the project from conception to conclusion. Phil moved into home automation in 2013 after more than a decade in the auto industry with its similar focus on new technology. He enjoys the fast pace, with suppliers consistently innovating, adding new products and bringing solutions to the market.

Quinton Van Dyk

Job Titles:
  • Automation Technician
Quinton is a vastly experienced automation technician, with over 12 years of experience enhancing peoples lives through technology. He's a Control4 expert and really gets the most out of a smart home for customers, often leaving them with that "oh it does that too!" feeling.
