Owner Lindsay Smith has been relocating, lifting and relevelling New Zealander's homes for over 31 years. Safely delivering homes all over the South Island. As a family and team, Heritage will continue to provide our clients with an excellent and reliable service in helping to make your house a home.
Owner Lindsay Smith began working with his uncle at JB Curline LTD in 1979 which specialised in building, home relocation, and house relevelling. After several years Lindsay moved on to Laing Building Relocators where he managed the house shifting division for 22 years.
It's worth noting Lindsay's Grandfather (see below photo) was one of the founders of building relocation in New Zealand, moving farm sheds and cottages for over 30 years, teaching his Nephew Jim Curline the tricks of the trade. Today Lindsay passes on this collective experience and knowledge to his eldest son Marshall Smith who has now been in the family game for over 12 years. The 4th Generation logo on our vehicles and uniforms is displayed with the great pride as it symbolises four generations of this specialised trade.
