SUPER SENIOR CARE

When I realized that I was going to have to put my grandmother into a nursing home, I was really upset. I knew that I couldn't take care of her the way that she needed at home, but I felt that putting her into a senior care facility would be just like abandoning her to strangers. I resolved to find the best nursing home I could, but I didn't hold out much hope. I was so surprised when I found the nursing home she ended up in. It was actually homey, with pictures on the walls and decorations around the building. The residents that I met and talked to were engaged and happy to tell me about the terrific staff and their many activities. My grandmother fit right in there, and I'm thrilled knowing that she's getting wonderful care and having fun... Not all senior care centers are bad.
