As a strategic account executive, Adam Terrell works with members to comprehend their benefits plan and advise them on areas that need improvement. With a knack for spotting potential weaknesses in an organization's plan, Adam can provide a high level of savings and convenience for members.
Adam holds a bachelor's degree in political science from The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

- Operations and Events Coordinator
Amanda's responsibilities include providing operational support to the entire staff and coordinating our Cooperative meetings and events. She takes the lead in maintaining the Cooperative's database, ensuring the database is organized and practical. Amanda is proficient in Microsoft Office and brings over 10 years of administrative experience.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Beloit College.
As our administrative assistant, Annika provides clerical support to our Cooperative staff and clients. She works closely with our operations team to ensure our Cooperative is well-organized and functions efficiently. Annika first gained administrative experience while working as an intern for a state representative at the Wisconsin State Capitol.
Annika attended Madison Area Technical College for political science.
As an account manager, Brecken assists our strategic account executives and clinical team with managing existing member and partner relationships. She also supports our sales effort by assisting with groups considering membership in National CooperativeRx. Brecken's strong critical thinking and communication skills make her proficient in answering questions and providing solutions to members' concerns.
Brecken attended Sauk Valley Community College and graduated with her Associate of Arts degree.

- Specialty Prior Authorization Associate
Chelsea is the Cooperative's specialty prior authorization associate, providing technical and administrative support to the Cooperative's prior authorization (PA) process. She promptly reviews, processes, and troubleshoots specialty PA requests, collaborating closely with the Cooperative's clinical services team dedicated to specialty PAs and other clinical initiatives.
Chelsea came to National CooperativeRx with over five years of insurance experience in a primary care clinic.

Chris Schanz came to National CooperativeRx with knowledge of the health care industry from an account manager's perspective. As a strategic account executive, he sits down with members to review their plan design, then lead them through evaluating what currently works and what changes would be beneficial. Chris is able to help members understand their options, then implement the best plan design for their specific organization.
Chris holds a bachelor's degree from UW-Green Bay and a graduate degree from UW-Milwaukee.
Deb Steele has 20 years of experience in state government finances and management of a large health care association. Deb joined National CooperativeRx after 10 years with the legislature, where she developed fiscal analyses of the state budget. In addition, she directed operations and management of a Wisconsin health plan association, serving 21 of the state's largest HMOs. In her role at National CooperativeRx, Deb oversees the Cooperative's finances, the Customer Relationship Management software, and daily operations.
Deb holds a bachelor's degree in small business administration and management from The University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Deb Thomsen has been with National CooperativeRx since its creation. She uses her vast knowledge of the pharmacy benefit industry to negotiate the best contract available, with a strong focus on service and value. In her role, Deb directs the rest of the staff in the Cooperative's overall objectives. She came to National CooperativeRx with 15 years of experience in the health care industry - including hospital and clinic operations, managed care contracting, and network development.
Deb holds two master's degrees from The University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Erica is a licensed pharmacist and one of the Cooperative's senior directors of clinical services. She is an excellent resource to both members and staff for clinical plan design recommendations and shows our members what can be achieved through the right educational initiatives and formulary structure. Erica previously was a clinical pharmacy program manager at Group Health Cooperative and prior to that worked at Walgreens.
Erica holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Wisconsin-Madison.

- Clinical Services Manager
Evan is a clinical services manager and works closely with the Cooperative's clinical team to evaluate and monitor our innovative clinical programs and assist members with clinical questions. One of Evan's main focuses is reviewing prior authorizations for specialty medications, a task that involves careful examination and evaluation of medications to determine if they are clinically appropriate for patients. His thorough assessments ensure the right medications are placed in the hands of the right patients.
Evan graduated from UW-Madison with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and UW-Whitewater with a Master of Business Administration degree.

Henry is a licensed pharmacist and works closely with the Cooperative's senior directors of clinical services. As a clinical services manager, Henry analyzes and monitors drug utilization and plan performance for National CooperativeRx member groups. His primary focus is reviewing specialty medication prior authorizations and approving or denying them based on formulary restrictions and clinical appropriateness. Henry previously worked at Walgreens and the Tomah VA Medical Center.
Henry holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

As a clinical services manager, Hiral works closely with our clinical team to perform, evaluate, and monitor our specialty medication prior authorizations and specialty high-dollar claim reviews. Additionally, she utilizes her clinical expertise and analytical skills to identify ways to improve the overall health of our members while helping reduce their health care costs.
Hiral graduated from North Dakota State University with a Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Business Administration.
As our marketing specialist, Jasmine develops marketing strategies that support National CooperativeRx sales efforts. She collaborates with colleagues to coordinate brand awareness and owns the plan and execution of creative campaigns through multi-channel tactics.
Jasmine came to us with a background in hotel marketing and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business marketing from Edgewood College.
As the CEO of National CooperativeRx, Josh's main focus is to represent the organization's members. National CooperativeRx represents over 270 members made up of employers, unions, and coalitions - which collectively are responsible for the health and well-being of over 400,000 participants. With this in mind, Josh strives to continue the Cooperative's trend of keeping costs low and value high.
Josh came to National CooperativeRx after working with the Wisconsin Counties Association (WCA) for a decade. As the Director of Programs and Services, he supported member services while developing revenue sources. In this role, Josh served as the COO of WCA Group Health Trust, a self-funded employee health benefits trust that grew from 8,000 to 50,000 participants during his tenure.
Josh received his undergraduate degree in public administration and finance from The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a master's degree in public affairs from The University of Wisconsin-Madison.

As a strategic account executive on our team, Josh maintains his own book of business within the Cooperative and advises members on the best recommendations for their pharmacy benefit plan design. Josh came to our team with an extensive background in the health care industry, including the audiology and oncology fields.

Katy is one of the Cooperative's sales and account associates, a position that helps build and maintain strong member and partner relationships. Katy closely supports strategic account executives, identifying opportunities to help members manage their pharmacy benefit plans and providing customer service. Additionally, she assists our sales team in coordinating and compiling information, reports, and data to support our growth initiatives.
Katy attended Purdue University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education.

Kyle Kapusta started with National CooperativeRx in 2014 as a regional sales manager and quickly excelled in his position, helping the company achieve record growth. In his current role as Director of Sales and Marketing, Kyle leads the sales team and marketing department to grow the membership of National CooperativeRx. With each added member, the Cooperative gains more negotiating power.
Kyle has a Bachelor of Science degree from Aurora University.

Matt Dengel works closely with our members to help them understand their benefit plan and format it to work in their favor. After analyzing their data, he provides recommendations that simultaneously reduce plan costs and optimize value for their plan's participants.
Prior to joining National CooperativeRx, Matt was a pharmacy assistant with a large hospital; he holds bachelor's degrees from Pennsylvania State University and The University of Wisconsin-Madison.
As our sales analyst at National CooperativeRx, Nathan evaluates and identifies trends in sales by analyzing internal and external industry data. Reporting to the director of sales and marketing, Nathan develops key standard tools, methodologies, and business processes aimed at improving Cooperative efficiency and helping optimize promotional strategies while increasing sales and member life count.
Nathan comes to us with a strong background in sales and insurance, most recently with American Family Insurance. Nathan holds a bachelor's degree in actuarial science from Indiana University South Bend.

As a sales and account associate, Ricky collaborates with our strategic account executives and clinical team to help manage existing member and partner relationships. Additionally, Ricky supports our sales initiative by providing guidance to groups considering membership in National CooperativeRx.
Ricky graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he majored in criminal justice and minored in political science.

Tim came to National CooperativeRx with almost 10 years of account management experience in the pharmacy benefit management industry. As a strategic account executive, he builds and maintains relationships with new and existing members, serving as a trusted pharmacy benefit advisor. He oversees a book of member accounts, reviewing their financial and clinical reports and identifying opportunities to help them better manage their pharmacy benefit plans.
Tim attended Boston College where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.

Todd's responsibilities include assisting agents, brokers and consultants in educating plan sponsors on how joining National CooperativeRx can provide the right pharmacy benefits for their participants while saving money and promoting good health. Prior to joining National CooperativeRx, Todd worked in the health and life insurance industry.
Todd holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Concordia College.

Wayne Salverda is responsible for the development, evaluation, recommendation and monitoring of pharmacy benefit management (PBM) clinical programs and initiatives. He is available as a clinical resource to members as well as staff. This often includes meeting with Cooperative members to review reports and provide plan design consultation. Wayne is a licensed pharmacist with almost 30 years of pharmacy experience including PBM, managed care and retail pharmacy markets.
Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from The University of Minnesota.

Wilmari serves as one of the Cooperative's clinical services managers, with a primary focus on reviewing prior authorizations for specialty medication prescriptions. Her day-to-day responsibilities include assessing cases for clinical appropriateness, suggesting alternative therapies, and consulting with patients and providers regarding treatment options. Serving as a clinical resource, Wilmari offers valuable support to members, partners, and Cooperative staff alike.
Wilmari holds a doctorate of pharmacy from Nova Southeastern University in Puerto Rico.
