Anne Jeffrey

Anne grew up in Penticton, BC, and obtained a BA from UVic in Hispanic Studies and Music in 2007. She completed a Juris Doctor from UBC in 2011 and was called to the BC Bar in 2012, but decided against practising as a lawyer and went on to study Music Performance and Teaching in classical voice at the Victoria Conservatory of Music. Anne lives with her partner and his sister and her family, including Anne's wonderful 2-year old niece, 3 black cats, and a new dog named Rosie. Anne is very happy to join The Shipley Group and is excited about using her skills in a new environment.

Lana Guseva

Job Titles:
  • Controller
Born and raised in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Lana immigrated to Canada in 2004. She lives in Langford with her husband, Michael, and her two daughters, Angelina and Viktoria. She graduated from Camosun College with her Business Administration Diploma - Accounting Option, and is now working on completing her Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation. Lana joined the Shipley Group in 2010 and continues to gain experience as the company's controller and internal bookkeeper.

Pritika Narang

Job Titles:
  • Executive Assistant
Pritika was born in Dover, England, but moved to Canada at an early age. She began her university career at UVic in the Engineering department but later switched, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce and specialisations in International Business and Service Management. She joined The Shipley Group in 2021, and is enjoying exploring and developing her skills and interests in a continuously expanding position. While she has enjoyed spending the last several years in Victoria, Pritika hopes her future will involve more travelling and adventures out in the world.

Tim Shipley - President

Job Titles:
  • President
Born and raised in Victoria, Tim was educated at St. Michael's University School and later at Mt. Douglas. He continued his education at the University of Victoria where he completed his Bachelor's Degree. After starting the MBA program at the University of British Columbia, Tim decided that an income was a better idea and started his working career. After five years in marketing and another five years in the banking world in Vancouver, Tim applied and was accepted into the Society of Notaries Public Program. A few years and several exams later, Tim was commissioned and started his life as a Notary Public. Shortly after this, he moved back to Victoria to join his father, Bill Shipley, who was a well-established accountant. The new enterprise was called "The Shipley Group".
