Dr. Jonathan Gidan is the primary pediatric dentist on staff and performs all phases of pediatric dentistry. This includes operative dentistry, sedation, and minor tooth movement.
Dr. Gidan received his undergraduate degree in genetics from UC Davis and his D.D.S. from New York University. His advanced pediatric training certificate was granted from the University of Southern California and Children's Hospital LA. Dr. Gidan has been practicing pediatric dentistry for 25 years. He has been at SCDG since June 1983.
Dr. Gidan has been married to Freddi Segal-Gidan PA, PhD, for 27 years and they are the proud parents of 2 teenage boys (Jared & Hayden). He wants to create a positive & caring dental attitude in young kids, so that they will be good dental patients for their entire lives. His personal time is used to relax with his family, play racquetball, ski, and do crossword puzzles.
Dr. Gidan is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Society of Children's Dentistry, The Southern California Society of Children's Dentistry, The California Society of Pediatric Dentists and the ADA! In addition, he has been an Associate Clinical Instructor of Children's Dentistry at USC for 15 years.
Dr. Emamy is a Board Certified Orthodontist who provides high quality orthodontic treatment helping her patients look and feel their best.
Dr. Emamy is a graduate of UCLA where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science. She received her DMD degree from Arizona School of Dentistry, graduating in the top 5% of her class where she also completed her Orthodontic Residency training.
During her residency she was able to provide superior care and consultation which resulted in an overall improvement of the department's patient satisfaction quotient. In addition to her orthodontic training, Dr. Emamy also holds MPH and MBA degrees, which help her add value to other aspects of patient care.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, & Academy of Orthodontic Excellence. Besides her Invisalign Certification, Dr. Emamy has advanced training in clear aligner therapy as well as lingual (hidden) braces.
In her free time, she enjoys working out, skiing, playing tennis, and spending time with family and friends. She is an avid book reader and a travel enthusiast.
Dr. Emamy is compassionate and emphatic towards her patient's needs. She also believes lifelong education and staying current with the latest orthodontic trends is a must. Alongside our skilled team, she inspires and encourages her patients throughout treatment to achieve the best functional and esthetic results.

Dr. Dixit received her DDS from the University of Southern California in 1991, where she was on the Dean's Honor List, a Phi Beta Kappa Scholar, and a spokesperson for International students. Dr. Dixit has been practicing dentistry for over 33 years and has been with Studio City Dental Group for the past sixteen.
She is a member of American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA) and the San Fernando Valley Dental Society (SFVDS). She has been part of the leadership at CDA for nine years and also served on the Board of the SFVDS as President. Dr. Dixit was instrumental in reviving the SFVDS Foundation and introducing 'Smiles From the Heart' program that helps disadvantaged patients obtain dental care. She also volunteers for ADA's 'Veteran's Smile Day' program.
Dr. Dixit's inclination toward thoughtful and efficient management of patient care coupled with her commitment to providing them compassionate treatment has continued to strengthen her reputation as an esteemed dental professional and resulted in many word-of-mouth referrals.
Her personal philosophy and work ethic is based on treating individuals with respect and dignity. The compliment she receives most often is, ' for the first time in my life I'm not afraid of going to the dentist'. She has been married to Dr. Vivek Dixit for 28 years and is the proud mother of 2 sons, ages 23 and 24. Her personal interests include a love for the cinema, music, traveling and architecture.
