The Gateway was established by Doris Johnson on November 6th 1972. Her daughter, and inspiration, for this establishment is still a resident at the Gateway Village. It is a NPO that aids intellectually and physically challenged adults to live their best lives... The Gateway Village is an NPO that caters to the physical, emotional and social development of intellectually and physically challenged adults. Our primary objective is to ensure our residents enjoy a good quality of life by providing a safe and stimulating environment for them to live and learn.
