Brian Van Patten is the President and Technical Director of USA Martial Arts here in Antioch, IL. Our facility is located in Antioch, IL. Brian Van Patten has been a karate instructor for over 25 years, specializing in helping kids and families become super successful at those core life skills. Brian Van Patten is one of the highest-ranking students of his first teacher and was honored with the distinguished title "Master" in 1997. He was promoted to the rank of 5th degree by Grand Master Song in 2005. Master Van Patten holds various teaching credentials and certifications. Master Van Patten has dedicated his life to researching, perfecting and teaching the USA Martial Arts method. His goal is to preserve and expand this unique system and enhance people's lives with its powerful life skills and lessons. His passion for inspiring others to unleash their potential has led him to have instructed thousands of men, women and children of all ages. Master Van Patten has continued his lifetime study of martial arts and healing arts, with experience in various martial systems as American Karate, Kung Fu, Wushu, Hapkido, Krav Maga, Jiu Jitsu, Kempo, Moo Duk Kwan Tae Kwon Do to name some. His exceptionally high standards and research have taken him as far as Asia to gain greater insight on martial arts, culture, and history.
