CATHERINE BENNETT - Key Persons
I started my career in an industry setting and qualified as MAAT in 2017. I have been in practice for the last three years where I started as a bookkeeper before moving on to preparing the accounts and tax. At Catherine Bennett Ltd I am really enjoying utilising my skills with a variety of work while working with a friendly welcoming team who have a wealth of knowledge and years of experience.
At home I like to spend time with family and friends, and enjoy baking and reading. I am also a very active member of my local archery club, and travel all over the county for tournaments during the summer months.
I had worked with Catherine previously and a chance meeting and fortunate timing lead to me joining Catherine Bennett Ltd in June 2015.
With over twenty years' experience gained from working in two other firms of Chartered Accountants in Cornwall, I was able to bring experience in accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies as well as bookkeeping and the preparation of VAT Returns together with various other office skills acquired after years of working in practice.
I started working in practice in 2017 initially working on bookkeeping and VAT jobs alongside preparing management accounts monthly and quarterly. I then progressed to preparing sole trade, partnership and limited company accounts whilst completing my AAT level 4 qualification and gaining my MAAT status.
I have carried out client training on QuickBooks online, particularly during the switch over to MTD for VAT.
