Elanor joined the firm in 2023 and works closely with our Accounts Department. Elanor also offers administrative support across the firm.
Emma is a Life Planning Executive at Guest Walker and is a qualified Chartered Legal Executive. With previous experience in family law, Emma is skilled in dealing with matters in a sensitive, sympathetic and non-confrontational way. She offers a friendly and smiley approach to put clients at ease when dealing with sensitive and often upsetting and difficult circumstances.

Hannah is a paralegal in the commercial property department at Guest Walker. She deals with a wide range of property transactions with an emphasis on infrastructure agreements for new housing estates. She can also act for management companies in relation to changes of ownership of properties under their control.

Helen's background in the law goes back over 30 years during which she practiced commercial property work in the York area. Her current role in the firm is to assist the Practice manager at GW in running the business. Whilst she is no longer involved in undertaking legal work her prior experience of working with local authorities , national estate agencies, lending institutions , land owners and developers is invaluable to the current team.
Rowena has more than 20 years' experience advising on all aspects of personal asset management and associated property matters.

Hudda qualified as a solicitor in 1994 and has over 28 years' experience as a probate solicitor in York, dealing with estates of all sizes and complexity. Hudda is knowledgeable, approachable and practical, with a rigorous eye for detail. She often acts for several generations of the same family providing advice at the most difficult and stressful of times to achieve a successful conclusion.
Hudda has excellent working relationships with other lawyers in this field, accountants, financial advisers and is highly regarded as a probate solicitor by professionals and clients alike.
She is happy to work directly for executors, or to assist fellow professionals with certain aspects of the estate administration.
Hudda is a Dementia Friend and has worked alongside local and national charities such as the Alzheimer's Society to raise both money and awareness in this field.
Jennie joined the firm in 2018 and is an experienced legal assistant. She supports the Residential Conveyancing Team.
Jenny joined the firm in 2003. She is a Legal Assistant in the Life Planning Department supporting Rowena Rogers, Hudda Morgan, Nick Clarke and Emma Hartley.

John Walker is a Director of Guest Walker and the Head of the Commercial Property Department. He has been working as a solicitor in York for almost forty years. John has extensive knowledge and experience of all aspects of the commercial property market both in York and across the North of England and a huge number of contacts.
He can give advice on many legal areas but has always loved pubs in particular and has a wide knowledge of the licensed trade sector. This includes advising clients on the 2016 Pubs Code and MRO free of tie leases and dealing with licencing applications. John is an Accredited Adviser of the British Institute of Innkeeping.
Julia joined the firm in 2021. She is a Legal Assistant to the Residential Property Team
Katie is a Legal Assistant in the Life Planning Department supporting Rowena Rogers, Hudda Morgan and Emma Hartley with their caseload.
Katie is a Dementia Friend, offering an understanding, supportive and patient approach to clients suffering with dementia.

Rachel joined Guest Walker in 1994. After training with the firm to become a solicitor she initially specialised in family law and immigration. She now works in the Conveyancing department. Rachel is aware of how stressful the moving process can be and deals with transactions in a proactive way offering friendly and helpful advice without the "legal jargon". Her clients appreciate her personable manner and the way she will go above and beyond to get transactions through to a completion.

Sue is a Life Planning Solicitor at Guest Walker and deals with all aspects of Wills, inheritance tax planning, Powers of Attorney and Probate matters.
Vicky Harding joined the Guest Walker team in 2018 and works with the Residential Conveyancing team as a Conveyancing Assistant.
Vicky is a Conveyancing Executive at Guest Walker specialising in residential conveyancing whose clients appreciate her personable and down to earth manner and her proactive approach to managing transactions through to successful completion.
Vicky prides herself on explaining the conveyancing process to her clients without any "legal jargon" so that they can always understand what is happening.
Zoe joined the firm in 2021. She is a Legal Assistant supporting the Commercial Property Department.
