Andrew C. Ferreira

Andrew C. Ferreira, SC is a member of the Barbados Bar Association, and the Trinidad and Tobago Bar Association; and holds membership in several international organisations, including the International Tax Planning Association, the International Fiscal Association, the International Law Association and British Institute of International and Comparative Law, and participates at the Joint Colloquium on International Arbitration sponsored under the auspices of the ICC, the AAA and ICSID. His primary area of legal practice includes the legal aspects of economic development, and he has been involved in several international financing projects, providing advice on structuring, regulatory issues, in international financial transactions and has an extensive knowledge of the commercial, financing, tax and regulatory legal framework in Barbados.

Angela R. Robinson

Angela Robinson is an attorney at Chancery Chambers and has focused her work in the ambit of Commercial and Corporate Law and Corporate/Business organizations and has advised multiple local and international clients. A member of Chancery Chambers' Management Team, she also practices in the area of taxation, trusts and pension law and has advised several large and small, local and regional pension plans. Angela Robinson received her legal training in Barbados and Trinidad at the University of the West Indies and joined Chancery Chambers in 2009. Bryan A.R. Volney

Corina Salazar is a graduate of Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Venezuela where she studied law. She furthered her studies by obtaining a Masters in Financial Law from the same University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and completed a Diploma in International Trust Management with Merit from the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Mrs. Salazar is a member of Instituto de Prevision Social del Abogado (INPREABOGADO) in Venezuela and holds a TEP designation from STEP. Erica Griffith

Fabian Best joined Chancery Chambers in September 2021 as Financial Controller, where he is responsible for the management and supervision of the accounting and financial reporting functions. He is a Barbados Exhibition Winner who holds a BSc. Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. Fabian has successfully held senior-level management positions over 10 years in the distribution, shipping and hospitality industries. When not balancing the accounts, he can be found engaging in various sporting activities including tennis and has a love for reading.

Heather E. Walker is an associate within the Chancery Chambers' Corporate and Commercial department. Heather joined the firm in May 2020. She obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree with Honours from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom in 2017, where she was awarded the Undergraduate Merit Scholarship and placed on the Head of School's List. Heather subsequently completed her professional bar training with the University of Law and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2018. Heather then pursued further professional legal training at the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and Tobago where she obtained the Legal Education Certificate in 2020. Janelle M. D. Clarke

Janelle M. D. Clarke is a property lawyer in our Conveyancing Department. Her practice focuses on the sale and purchase of real estate, residential and commercial mortgages, estate applications and other property related matters. Ms. Clarke joined the Chancery Chambers team in 2013. She received her LLB from the University of the West Indies in Barbados in 2003 and her Legal Education Certificate (LEC) from the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad in 2005. Niara Fraser is a qualified attorney-at-law with substantial property and commercial law experience and a certified mediator. Sir Trevor Carmichael - Founder

Sir Trevor Carmichael is the Founder and Principal of Chancery Chambers, a premier regional law firm which has gained international recognition, offering a comprehensive legal service to clients with international business and commercial interests. Sir Trevor is a member of the Barbados Bar Association, the International Bar Association and the Inter-American Bar Association and is a Committee Member of the Inter-American Bar Foundation as well as an associate member of the Canadian Bar Association. He holds membership in the International Tax Planning Association, the International Fiscal Association and was one of the parties responsible for establishing a Barbados Chapter of the International Fiscal Association of which he is Charter President. Sir Trevor has spoken to a wide range of audiences on international, commercial and tax-related matters and has also served as keynote speaker twice at the Canadian Condominium Institute's Annual Meetings in Toronto, Canada. He is the Barbados Country Chairman of the International Litigation Committee on Business Law of the International Bar Association and a former Deputy Secretary General of the International Bar Association. In addition, he is a Life Fellow of the Institute for Advanced Legal Studies in the United Kingdom, a Life Member of the Commonwealth Magistrates and Judges Association and a member of the International Law Association. He has authored over one hundred (100) articles and monographs in the areas of Law, Economics and Public Policy, and he serves as a Panel Member of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes of the World Bank in Washington. He is also a Certified International Arbitrator with the International Centres for Arbitration, and a Vice President of the International Institute of Association and Foundation Lawyers, as well as a Member of the International Council of Environmental Law.

Tammy O. Thornhill

Tammy O. Thornhill joined the firm of Chancery Chambers in 2007. She received her LLB with honours from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus in 2005 and received her Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School in 2007. She is a member of the Barbados Bar Association. She practices in the area of corporate commercial law, pensions, trust and intellectual property.
