My name is Laurie Stottlaw. I have worked in the field of Personal Development in the Outdoors for over ten years. During the course of this work, I developed an interest in working therapeutically with individuals. I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling from Strathclyde University. I have a BSc Honours degree from Lancaster University and am an Accredited Practitioner of the Institute for Outdoor Learning. I hold a number of outdoor qualifications which allow me to lead activities in the outdoors. I am certified in Telephone Counselling. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and work within their ethical framework. I am fully insured and attend regular, ongoing supervision, as required within the counselling profession.
