Chung Wah

Chung Wah Chinese School Leeming was established by the Chung Wah Association in 1991. Initially, the school has five classes of about 100 students, four teachers and a principal. Today the school has approximately 300 students, 17 classes and close to 30 teachers and staff.

Cristina Tian

Cristina Tian is Chung Wah Chinese School Leeming's Upper School teacher, leading the Year 10 to 12 classes. She was recently awarded Teacher of the Year Award 2022 for Outstanding Community Languages. We thank Teacher Cristina for all her effort in making our school one of the best Chinese Schools in Perth, and we are very proud that one of our hardworking teachers has won this award. Congratulation!

Dr Li Hua

Job Titles:
  • Deputy Principal
Deputy Principal Dr Li Hua has led Chung Wah Chinese School Leeming for many years. She has dedicated her life to promoting Chinese Education and has since started new schools for Chung Wah Association at Atwell. She led the introduction of Playgroup and many collaborations with other associations and community bodies.

Luisa Chou

Job Titles:
  • Principal
Principal Luisa Chou has been a long-standing teacher, administrator, Deputy Principal and now Principal of the Chung Wah Chinese School Leeming for well over a decade. Throughout her time at the School, she has led the implementation of innovative changes to the School, particularly system changes that enhanced the functions of the School (e.g. implementation of the SkoolBag App, Email Newsletters, online forms, etc.)

Viola Wong

Job Titles:
  • Deputy Principal
Deputy Principal Viola Wong has been an outstanding teacher of the Kindergarten class over recent years and is a favourite amongst the younger children. She has recently stepped up into the Deputy Principal role and have collaborated with Principal Luisa in learning about and managing the administration of the School.
