EMORY UNIVERSITY

The Cherry L. Emerson Center for Scientific Computation was established in 1991. Prof. Joel Bowman served as Acting Director and was succeeded by Keiji Morokuma as Director in September 1992. The Emerson Center Leadership Committee (ECLC), appointed by the Dean of Emory College, guides the operation of the Emerson Center. It comprises faculty of Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics.
