HIDEAWAY

In late 2013, father and son and Annapolis natives Bob and Mike Krohn heard that a neighborhood restaurant and bar named Jim's Hideaway might be on the market. Bob had last been to the restaurant about thirty years earlier and had fond memories of eating hard crabs at there. Jim Keeney, the much-loved owner of Jim's Hideaway, died in 2006, after owning the restaurant for about 35 years. They were fascinated by the character of the building and the wonderful part Jim's Hideaway had played in the history of the community, and decided to buy it.
