IVREF is an IRS tax-exempt organization, and all donations and contributions made to the foundation are tax deductible. All donations made will be used to support biomedical research and education to improve the lives and treatment of Veterans in Idaho and the nation... Our mission is to continually improve the health of all Veterans through basic science discoveries, clinical research studies, and state-of-the-art education of healthcare professionals, Veteran patients and their family members... Completed in 2012, our two-story, 18,000-square-foot Research building houses multiple state-of-the-art basic science research laboratories. We are working to create a well-equipped and broadly supported Biomedical Research Center of Excellence at the Boise VAMC that will serve as a nexus for such research in the state of Idaho.
