Adam McDonagh is Senior Vice President of Sales at SoftCo with over a decade of experience in the AP/P2P space. Adam's focus is to understand obstacles large organizations face as they shift from manual AP/P2P practices to a fully automated environment to better control, leverage, and secure spend in an efficient and cost-effective way. Adam has a wealth of experience working with leading American organizations including SunnyD, Logitech, Snap-on, Patagonia and R.J. O'Brien to guide them through their Accounts Payable and Procure-to-Pay transformation journeys.

Alan Paley is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Overseas Cargo, Inc. He was active in the former South Florida Chapter of IAPP and served as President of that organization in the early 1990s.
He joined Overseas Cargo Inc. (a third-party logistics and warehousing provider) as Director of Operations in 2009 and was responsible for both Operations and Accounting.
He was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2014. In 2016, he was named "Chief Financial Officer of the Year" by the South Florida Business Journal in the category of private companies with less than 100 million in sales.
In his prior work experience, Alan joined Pueblo International as a Field Auditor in 1986, transitioned to Accounts Payable Manager from 1988 to 1992, and served as Director of Retail Accounting from 1992 to 2009.
He is a veteran of the United States Air Force, and served during the Vietnam War.

Arlene joined STEP Energy Services in August 2022 as the AP Team Lead. She manages the AP team for Canadian Operations.
She has more than 15 years of experience in accounts payable processes including experience with many different types of software. She has also been part of an integration team merging several companies into one accounting system.
Arlene has a Business Administration certificate, has taken several courses in the Accelerated Accounting program and completed her Account Payable Manager Certification (IOFM) in 2022.

As Director of Accounts Payable at Procore Technologies, Kristy currently oversees the accounts payable department for Procore Technologies, an expanding construction project management software company. The company provides software to general contractors, specialty contractors, and subcontractors for major construction projects such as hospitals, office buildings, and bridges.
Kristy's career in AP spans 20 years of experience in various industries, most of which were global. She is an accomplished accounting professional and proven leader with a strong background in the computer software, biotech, manufacturing, and retail industries.

Laurie is Associate Director at the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF). She is an experienced leader in the Accounts Payable function.
Over the past 20 years, Laurie has excelled in her career by following best practices in the industry, developing controls, establishing high performing teams, improving processes, and implementing new systems.
At AHF, Laurie has led the implementation of Purchase Orders-creating the system and process, testing and developing the system, training end users, and ensuring policy adherence.

Leslie is the Senior Finance Director, GPO of Order to Cash and AP Services at Celestica. He is an experienced senior operational finance director with a demonstrated history of working in the electrical and electronic manufacturing industry.
As an IOFM speaker and member of both the AP and AR IOFM Advisory Panels since 2021, Les generously shares his expertise in the areas of cash flow, budgeting, account reconciliation, accounting, risk management, and internal controls. Les is a founding member of the Canada IOFM Chapter and served as Secretary from 2019 through 2021. He looks forward to his new role as President.

Melinda has been the Accounts Payable Lead at the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) for six years. AHF provides HIV care and services to over 1,700,000 people globally.
She is passionate about expanding her knowledge in all areas of accounts payable operations including invoice process improvements and vendor file management. Her job focuses on fraud prevention and managing a highly functioning team. Her mission is to help implement processes that streamline the invoice processing workflow.
Melinda holds a bachelor's degree in financial analysis from the California State University of Northridge. She is currently working on obtaining her APM certification from IOFM.

Her experience in these different industries and her interaction with diverse cultures has brought Virginia a wealth of practical knowledge that has enhanced her leadership skills and helped her create an outstanding AP operation.
Virginia is passionate about tax compliance issues and was a speaker at a recent IOFM conference on the topic of Vendor Payment Fraud. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Management from the University of Phoenix and is a member of the IOFM Advisory Panel.
