Brenan Formosa

Brenan Formosa is focused on providing personalized service to our clients and has a passion for generating new ideas that lead to wealth creation and capital preservation. Brenan incorporates both fundamental and technical analysis into his investment strategy. He enjoys working with high-net-worth clients who have complex financial, tax, and estate planning issues and believes this is a core value add to clients. While studying Finance at the Rowe School of Business, Brenan started working at Richardson Wealth in January 2015 as a Co-Op student in both the Toronto and Halifax offices. These experiences were invaluable to Brenan's professional career as he's become well aligned with Richardson Wealth's core ideals, practices, and beliefs. Throughout university, Brenan maintained an active role in both the Dalhousie Investment Society and the Dalhousie Real Estate Society. Brenan is licensed to trade options and is also a CFA Level III Candidate with the goal of obtaining his Portfolio Manager designation. In Brenan's personal time, he stays active by playing golf, hockey, and softball.

Grace Finlayson

Grace started at Richardson Wealth as a temporary assistant in January 2018 and has been a member of the Gellman Wealth Management Group ever since. Originally from Australia, Grace has a Bachelor of Fine Arts with First Class Honours from Queensland University of Technology. She has a wide range of administrative and communication skills from her experience in wealth management, publishing and education. Grace recently completed the Canadian Securities Course.

Simon Partington

Simon began his career as an Associate at Richardson Partners Financial in 2005 where he learned the business through experience, continuing education and Professional Designations. In 2009 he partnered with a seasoned advisory team and worked through a six year succession plan which saw their practice double in size. Simon takes a holistic approach to Wealth Management and conducts in depth assessments regarding the needs and potential risks facing successful families, professionals, and business owners. Simon places a high priority on Tax & Estate Planning and providing a high level of service and comfort to clients as he helps guide them through various life events to ensure a seamless transition, whether it be, divorce, selling a business, managing an inheritance or adjusting to the financial changes brought on by retirement. Simon's key roles also include asset allocation and investment selection with a disciplined process for buying and selling North American securities. More recently, Simon has been incorporating various Alternative Investments and non-traditional, non-correlated investment opportunities to reduce risk and volatility and achieve superior risk adjusted returns over the longer term. Simon obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary's University in Halifax. Professional standards are high on Simon's agenda and he has earned both Chartered Financial Planner (CFP®) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designations. Currently he is working towards his Chartered International Wealth Manager (CIWM®) designation. Simon is also Insurance Licensed which helps round out the Wealth Planning Approach. Simon enjoys working with different charities and over the last 12 years of living in Toronto he has been involved with Sheena's Place, Regent Park Gala and East Coast Connected.
