Anna Proulx

Anna Proulx is the founding visual and performing arts director for Syracuse University's Los Angeles Semester (SULA). She has an extensive background in both arts and higher education management. Previously, Proulx was the director of admissions for the American Film Institute Conservatory, a top-ranked master's film program, and at Loyola Marymount University's School of Film and Television. She also managed the Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program, creatively supporting and working with international and domestic documentary filmmakers. Her passion throughout her career lies in finding, developing, and supporting artists through education.

Camille Crites

Camille graduated with a B.A. in International Relations and Economics from the University of California at Davis ('82) and completed her Master's Degree (MSSc) through the Maxwell School at Syracuse University ('14). She moved to Florence, Italy in 1985 and began a career in Import/Export with the Macy's buying office. Camille's career with Syracuse University in Florence ran from 1990 until 2014 where she held the position of Assistant Director for Academics at SUF, which included academic program development. She began representing Syracuse University at high school fairs in Italy in 2010, and moved to her current position in October 2014.

Jack Eddy

Jack Eddy is an Administrative Specialist for Syracuse University in Los Angeles. He assists Visual and Performing Arts Director Anna Proulx in developing new programs for the VPA students attending Syracuse University's Los Angeles Semester. He is a UCLA graduate who majored in Art and History, and in his free time he enjoys painting and traveling.

Janet Recchia

Janet is the Assistant Director for Syracuse University/Southern California Admissions and a specialist for the College of Visual and Performing Art. A graduate of Syracuse University, Janet has a BFA in Illustration with an emphasis on fashion. Janet began her career as a fashion illustrator in New York City where she worked for over 17 years in the industry. Relocating to Los Angeles in 1997, Janet taught art in her studio for 15 years focusing on foundation skills, portfolio and Art and Design College planning. Janet is married to a "fellow Orange" alumnus of the College of Visual and Performing Art and has a son currently attending the Master's program in Museum Studies at Syracuse University.

Jason Poles

As an undergraduate, he helped the Orange win three consecutive BIG EAST football titles from 1996 - 1998, serving as co-captain of the famed 1998 squad that played in the 1999 Orange Bowl. Jason is based out of our SULA office and covers all of Southern California as well as Arizona and Las Vegas.

Jeff Goldstein

Jeff Goldstein serves as president of domestic distribution at Warner Bros. Pictures, overseeing the theatrical rollout of the studio's films. He has been at Warner Bros. for more than 30 years, beginning his tenure as an intern in the studio's Los Angeles office. He later served in regional offices in Florida, Ohio, and Massachusetts, before rising up through the executive ranks.

Joan Adler

Since opening the Los Angeles office for Syracuse University in April, 2005, Joan has been instrumental in growing the office to include an Admissions director and the "SULA Semester" program. She has engaged hundreds of Syracuse University alumni throughout LA and across the West Coast, creating alumni events in the fields of entertainment, academics, athletics, and more. A native of Syracuse, Joan received a bachelor's degree from Ithaca College and master's degree from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Immediately after graduating, Joan moved to LA to pursue a career in the entertainment industry, heading the leading post-production facility in the country, The Post Group. In 1990, she became a member of the Syracuse University Newhouse Advisory Board, and in 1992, the Chair of the Board, holding the position for nearly 10 years. Joan is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Women in Film, and CASE.

Lauren Palius

Lauren is a native Angeleno and a graduate of the University of California, San Diego. Prior to joining the SULA team in January 2011, Lauren was the special events coordinator at the Petersen Automotive Museum. mos. Luis Solano

Robin Forman Howard

Robin Forman Howard is the director of Syracuse University's Los Angeles Academic Semester Program, a career oriented program that gives students the opportunity to live, learn and work in Los Angeles. She joins the University after a 25 year career in the entertainment industry where she worked in almost every field of feature film and television production. Beginning her entertainment career in post-production, Robin produced feature films and television movies, served as Executive Vice-President for Sydney Pollack's Mirage Productions, and then Mark Rosenberg & Paula Weinstein's Spring Creek Productions, culminating her entertainment career as President of Spring Creek Television. Robin has been a faculty member of the Syracuse University Los Angeles Semester since its inception in 2009. She became the Director of the program in July 2013. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Robin received her bachelor's degree in Television/Radio from Brooklyn College and a master's degree from Syracuse University where she attended the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications on a teaching fellowship. Robin is a member of the Producers Guild of America, The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and The Paley Center for Media.
