A Whole New World ✨ Every year, the Little Haiti Chapter partners with Toussaint L'Ouverture Elementary School to welcome new children into the Children's Orchestras Program. Last week, Site Manager Adrian Cardenas and teaching artist Ana Ortega shared their musical life stories, showcased their instruments-violin, double bass, and piano-and played Air on the G-String (J.S. Bach) and A Whole New World from the Disney movie Aladdin. New prospective music students raised their hands, asked all sorts of questions, and were able to play the violin for the first time! The room was teeming with enthusiasm and curiosity. Since 2012, the Miami Music Project has worked with the Little Haiti community to empower its youth...
