Colin Lock took on sole ownership of Professionals Christchurch in 2013, establishing a values-based company ethos which is reflected at all levels of the business and practised by all personnel. Colin's highly successful sales career has seen him clock up more than $250 million in sales and the old adage "If you want something done, ask a busy person" sums up Colin perfectly. Colin's enthusiasm for real estate is matched only by his passion for boats - he is a highly-regarded, competitive sailor and a very active member of the Naval Point Club, Lyttelton. There are surprising similarities in the skills needed in real estate and those needed for successful sailing: manoeuvring under pressure, exercising sound judgement, reading the conditions and cool-headedness when things get choppy. But, when there's a fair wind and a great sail or sale has been experienced, there's fun to be had at work and on the water. And, Colin has had a lot of fun over what he calls the ‘wonderful years' of his chosen career.
