Crisis Communication: research and solutions for communication strategies in risk and crisis (CrisCom) is a networked expertise area of the University of Jyväskylä in Finland, a cooperation of the Department of Communication and Agora Center... Communication strategies support crisis management. Organizations need to communicate and monitor before, during and after emergencies, but also seek to empower citizens by enhancing response abilities. We provide new knowledge that addresses current gaps in international research and free tools for public organizations... This project has received funding from the European Union's Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under grant agreement n° 284927. The project is coordinated by The University of Jyväskylä, Agora Center in cooperation with the Department of Communication.
