Chris White - CEO, President

With over 30 years of industry experience in the energy sector, Chris White holds the position of President and CEO of ERTH Corporation. Chris has played a major role in the creation of ERTH Power through the merger of ten Ontario-based electric utilities and most recently, leading the ERTH team through the merger with Goderich Hydro in 2018, while building on the valued partnerships established with our communities. Chris's inspiring career began in 1988 as an Apprentice Powerline Technician with Ingersoll PUC (now ERTH Power Corporation). Over the years, Chris has held various supervisory, management, senior management and executive positions within the organization and in 2010 became President of the regulated utility, ERTH Power Corporation, serving the interests of nine municipal shareholders. In 2013, Chris added Chief Operating Officer of ERTH Corporation to his list of responsibilities. Chris was appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of ERTH Corporation in 2016. In this role, Chris has been an active leader in the electricity sector, sitting on various committees, boards, and associations, including serving as the Chair of the Electricity Distributors Association in 2021. Chris' commitment to evolving the traditional utility business was recognized when he was honoured as one of Canada's 2021 Clean50 award winners and the Clean1 6 leader in the Traditional Energy & Generation category. Chris is a graduate of the Electrical Engineering Technician program at Fanshawe College and has completed his Executive Leadership Development Certificate from the Richard Ivey School of Business; a Masters Certificate in Energy Sector Leadership from York University; and Competitive Decision Making Certificate from Harvard Business School

David Apfelbeck

Appointed by the Municipality of Central Elgin, David brings Utility Industry experience to the board from a diverse 40-year career in the Natural Gas Industry with Union Gas and Enbridge. Throughout his career he held leadership positions in Distribution Operations, Technical Training and Utility Services Management. David maintains an Applied Science Technologist designation ( A.Sc.T.) with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists. He is also a Civil Technology graduate of Fanshawe College and holds a Bachelors Degree from Western University.

David Mayberry

Appointed by the Township of South West Oxford, David serves as a member of the Board of Directors for both ERTH Corporation and ERTH Power Corporation and is the elected Mayor of the Township of South West Oxford. With a keen interest in renewable energy and conservation, David has achieved remarkable success in reducing greenhouse gas emissions by an impressive 90% over the past ten years and producing a slight net surplus of electrical power. As a retired dairy farmer, David and his wife Kathryn have worked for a non-governmental organization on issues including global hunger and agriculture. David and Kathryn have four children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Together, David and his family enjoy domestic and international travel.

Eustacia Young - CEO, Secretary

Eustacia joined ERTH Corporation as Executive Assistant to the President & CEO in 2007, and later added the role of Corporate Secretary to her title. Supporting ERTH's Executive Management Team and Board of Directors, Eustacia brings a variety of skills and knowledge including executive administration, sales, marketing, and management.

Gerry Richer

Appointed by the Township of Norwich, Mike Dymarski has over 40 years of technical and administrative management experience, providing support for industrial and educational operations including 30 years with Ontario Power Generation. Mike is retired but actively volunteers in community organizations in the village of Norwich. Appointed by the Town of Aylmer, Gerry retired in 2001 after a 35-year career with the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) stationed in remote regions of northern Ontario be it in Moosonee, Hearst, White River, Wawa and ending his career in Aylmer, Ontario. Gerry's career started with the Forestry and Forest Fire Suppression Division of the MNR ending with the Lands and Planning Division in Aylmer. After retiring, Gerry served 11 years on Aylmer Town Council finishing his term as Deputy Mayor. Beginning in 2009, Gerry assisted his First Nation reservation at Henvey Inlet Reservation in developing the largest FN wind farm in Canada. Gerry continues as Chairman of Nigig Windpower Board. A father of four children and five grandchildren, Gerry divides his time between home and cottage.

Graig Pettit

With over 20 years of experience providing regulatory, financial and strategic leadership in the electricity sector, Graig has helped facilitate several mergers providing analytical and operational support throughout the process and during merger transitions. Graig gained his expertise through various roles within the ERTH group of companies and in conjunction with previous consulting experiences prior to and during the deregulation of the electric industry. As Vice President and General Manager of ERTH Power, Graig is responsible for the day to day operation of the regulated arm of the ERTH group of companies; ensuring safe and reliable supply of electricity to its customers and a commitment to customer service.

Larry McCabe

Appointed by the Town of Goderich, and a life-long resident of the Town, Larry McCabe held various roles within the municipality including Chief Administrative Officer, Clerk Administrator, Clerk-Treasurer, and Deputy Clerk-Treasurer. Earning his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wilfred Laurier University, Larry also holds the Accredited Municipal Clerk/Treasurer (AMCT) designation from the Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario from Fanshawe College

Laurie Palmer - COO

A visionary and leader in her field, Laurie brings expertise in software solutions, industry regulations and business process automation to ERTH and our valued clients. Laurie has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Management Economics from the University of Guelph and has devoted more than 15 years to the utility industry. Laurie's long and varied involvement in the utility and technology sectors has given her a unique perspective that enables her to see possibilities and promote innovation. Laurie has been instrumental in expanding our solution division to include a vast array of products and services to support Local Distribution Companies, Municipalities and the private sector. As Chief Operating Officer, Laurie is responsible for business operations and strategic leadership and growth of ERTH's business and infrastructure divisions. Laurie's approach recognizes the importance of total client satisfaction and values the opportunity to partner with our clients in ensuring that their business goals are being realized.

Matt Langford

Appointed by the Township of Zorra, Matt brings governance experience to the ERTH Board from spending time on the boards of corporate, agricultural and community organizations. Matt operates a farm and business in Zorra and has previous experience in the construction, finance and insurance industries.

Michael Dymarski

Nicholas Vink - Chairman

Appointed by the Municipality of West Perth, Nicholas draws on more than 12 years of valuable municipal council experience in policy development, stewardship, governance, and financial management. He possesses an extensive background in information technologies supported by educational and professional achievements. Nicholas is committed to environmental conservation and renewable energy and is currently working with his family at home on a net-zero electricity project.

Paul Madden

Paul was appointed CEO of 3M Australia/New Zealand in 2007, President of 3M Canada in 2012, and President of 3M's Global Automotive and Aerospace Division in 2016. While in Canada, Paul was a member of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives, was a member of the United Way cabinet in the London region and was involved with the St Joseph's Hospital Foundation fundraising Board.

Robert Kent - CFO

As a Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified General Accountant, Robert has over 30 years of financial experience and has spent 20+ years in the electricity industry providing financial, strategic and regulatory leadership to electric utilities, public water utilities and various competitive activities, including renewable energy projects. As Chief Financial Officer, Robert is responsible for the strategic management and performance of ERTH's accounting and finance functions.

Tyler Moore - Chief Legal Officer

Tyler is a corporate commercial lawyer with more than 20 years experience practicing business law in the Ontario electricity sector. As General Counsel, Tyler manages the legal and corporate affairs of the ERTH group of companies, and he is responsible for legal services, corporate governance, risk management planning, sustainability and ESG management. Tyler is also Vice President of ERTH Energy. In this role, Tyler is responsible for ERTH's business division focused on the deployment of distributed energy resources, including renewable generation and EV charging infrastructure. Tyler's broad experience before ERTH included in-house and external roles with a range of energy sector participants, including national law firms, regulators and government agencies, and large electricity distributors. Tyler is also a long-serving Board member for GreenSaver, a leading not-for-profit providing energy efficiency solutions to Ontario's low-income and other sectors. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
