Dr. Bryon R. Kozak is dedicated to maintaining a reputation of excellence in orthodontic care. He attended the University of Parkside for his undergraduate work. After receiving an early acceptance into the dental program, he attended the University of Minnesota Dental School. Dr. Kozak was then accepted to Marquette University, where he received his certificate in orthodontics and his Master of Science degree in 2001. In pursuit of excellence, Dr. Kozak enrolled in an 18-month advanced education course in orthodontics (AEO) in 2003. The AEO course has given Dr. Kozak the opportunity to implement diagnostic systems to provide exceptional care to temporomandibular dysfunction patients and advanced surgical patients. This system has given him a comprehensive understanding of the masticatory system that is not taught in typical orthodontic residencies. In addition to being a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Dr. Kozak's professional affiliations include the Wisconsin Society of Orthodontists, the American Board of Orthodontics, the Midwest Society of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, and the Kenosha County Dental Society. Dr. Kozak was also the president of the Kenosha County Dental Society in 2005/2006. Dr. Kozak and his wife Rebecca, are proud parents of three children, Camryn, Dylan, and Mia. Together, they enjoy being an active outdoor family during any season. Together they enjoy summers at the lake and ice skating in the winter. Their kids keep them busy with sports like baseball, volleyball, and a family favorite, hockey!

Dr. Chris Mattingly, DMD, MS, has been practicing orthodontics and creating beautiful smiles for over 30 years. After two years of undergraduate work at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, he was admitted to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. There, he embarked on a two-year residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics while simultaneously obtaining a Master of Science in Oral Biology. Dr. Mattingly is passionate about staying on the leading edge of the orthodontic industry and is proud to be affiliated with the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, Louisville Dental Society, AAO, and KAO. In every interaction, he strives to form a unique bond with whomever he has the privilege of treating. He loves to make his patients feel like they're a part of the office family by learning something about their lives and passions. When he's not serving patients, Dr. Mattingly prioritizes spending time with his family above all other pastimes. After losing a wife and daughter to tragic and unexpected illnesses, he believes that nothing is as important or as sustaining as spending time with loved ones. Dr. Mattingly also enjoys volunteer work and donating platelets, as he's seen the life-giving impact of both during his lifetime. Service is a passion that gives his life meaning after experiencing unexplainable losses.

Dr. Christian Howell, DMD, has been practicing orthodontics since 2000 in the communities of Louisville, Bardstown, and Lebanon. After graduating from high school in Indiana, he entered the workforce, served in the US Army, and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in business from Indiana University. He attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where he became a Doctor of Dental Medicine and continued his education to receive both an advanced degree in general dentistry and a master's degree in oral biology. By 2000, Dr. Howell had completed a degree in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics from the same institution. Dr. Howell is known for making his patients feel cared for and is always looking for the next innovation that will further improve their experience. Similarly, he is passionate about helping other orthodontists stay on the cutting edge of the industry and has held positions at the local, state, and national level to assist in this endeavor. He is proud to be affiliated with the AAO, ADA, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Kentucky Dental Association, and Louisville Dental Society. Dr. Howell is blessed to be married to his wife of over two decades, Dr. Laura Escher-Howell. Their lives have been enriched by their four children: Ben, Jacob, Grant, and Eva. In his spare time, he enjoys many outdoor activities with his family and friends.

Jackie Zimmer graduated magna cum laude from Marquette University where she received her Bachelor's degree. She then continued her education at Marquette to receive an advanced degree in general dentistry followed by a two-year residency program to obtain her Master's degree and specialty certificate in orthodontics. Zimmer is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Fox River Valley Dental Society, and the Aurora Dental Society, where she served as president from 2001 to 2002. She has been the recipient of several academic awards and has earned membership in Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Sigma Nu, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Zimmer is board certified to practice orthodontics in the state of Illinois. She also participates in ongoing continuing education to further improve her patients' experience. Zimmer knew early on that she wanted to work with children. She finds that helping kids and adults gain self-confidence is the most fulfilling aspect of her job. She finds herself extremely lucky to a career she loves so much where she can directly improve patient's lives. She also puts great value in really getting to know the families over the years and forging friendships. Zimmer is a proud wife to her husband Steve and is the mother of two children, Charlie and Caroline, and a miniature labradoodle, Vail. Outside of the office, Zimmer and her family love to travel and spend time outdoors. Together, they like to ski, swim, bike, play soccer, tennis and golf, and spend quality time together as a family.

Dr. Jessica Hedger, DMD, MS, is from the south suburbs of Chicago. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, she went on to attend the University of Illinois at Chicago to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, Master in Oral Sciences degree, and Advanced Certificate in Orthodontics. She currently lives in Chicago with her fiancé and 3 pets: Ozzy (dog), Abby and Ash (cats). During her free time, Dr. Hedger enjoys traveling, exploring the beautiful city, trying new restaurants, and taking her dog to the dog park. She is thrilled to create beautiful, confident smiles alongside the awesome team at Shoreview Orthodontics.

John Lippincott is a native of the Aurora area, attending Hall Elementary and Washington Middle School before graduating from West Aurora High School. He received his Bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University. John received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he received several awards for academic achievement, leadership, and excellence in patient care. He completed his specialty residency training in orthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he also received a Master's degree in Oral Sciences. After his residency, John published his research findings in a respected orthodontic journal and has presented several lectures regarding his Master's thesis, including a lecture at the yearly meeting of the American Association of Orthodontists. John is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Illinois Society of Orthodontists, and the Aurora Dental Society. He recently completed a term serving as President of the Aurora Dental Society for the 2014-15 season. John is board certified to practice orthodontics in the state of Illinois and spends significant time each year in continuing education courses to ensure his patients receive a high level of orthodontic care. John is a second-generation orthodontist, having practiced with his father, Gary Lippincott, for several years, an opportunity he cherishes to this day. John has loved being a part of the practice since day one, seeing every day how orthodontics can help children and adults enjoy a better quality of life. He also loves getting to know the patients and their families and doing whatever he can to make sure they are 100% comfortable in the office. Outside the office, John likes to spend time with his wife Rebecca and their three children, Jack, Thomas, and Eliza. He also enjoys volunteering at church, reading, road biking, and traveling.

Dr. Tima is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and has practiced orthodontics for over 7 years Seeing patients and helping them with their smiles is the best part of Lori Tima's day and she looks forward to providing the best orthodontic care possible. Tima received her bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming and graduated from University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry with a DDS degree in 2012. She then earned her Master's degree and orthodontic certificate from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry Department of Orthodontics. Tima highly values partnering with organizations that help her stay current with orthodontic trends. These organizations include the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Colorado and Wyoming Dental Associations. Outside of the office, Tima enjoys playing violin, painting, and learning new things.

Mark Farley takes pride in his work and loves watching his patients mature through treatment and seeing their beautiful smiles when their braces are removed. Dr. Farley attended the University of Louisville where he earned his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry. He then completed his pediatric dentistry residency at the Children's Hospital in Cincinnati. He received his degree in orthodontics from the University of Louisville. As an Invisalign provider, Dr. Farley is in the top one percent in the country and has achieved Diamond Plus status. He has been the orthodontist for the craniofacial team at Dayton Children's Hospital for 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family as well as jogging, tennis, and golf.

Shawn Murray thoroughly enjoys transforming smiles in Northern Colorado and believes that a great smile can truly change your life. Murray completed his undergraduate studies at Weber State University and went on to receive his doctorate degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Next, he completed his certificate of advanced graduate study in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. Outside of the office, Murray can be found spending time with his family or staying up to date on new advancements in the field. He maintains involvement in several professional associations including the American Association of Orthodontics, Colorado Dental Association, and Weld County Dental Society. Dr. Stephen Sperry graduated from Texas A&M University and the Baylor College of Dentistry. He was Valedictorian of his orthodontic residency program at the St. Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education. Dr. Sperry worked as a family dentist with his father prior to completing his orthodontic training. He comes with numerous awards and several years of dental and orthodontic teaching experience. Giving back to others is an important part of Dr. Sperry's life. In 2006 Dr. Sperry married his high school sweetheart, Anna. They have two precious boys, Eli and Henry. They enjoy cycling, participating in worship at church, leading small group studies, and according to Dr. Sperry, he "really enjoys Anna's awesome cooking."

Dr. Sydney Twiggs is a passionate orthodontist who has recently embarked on her dream of living and practicing in the Chicagoland area. Originally hailing from Indiana, she completed her undergraduate studies, dental school, and orthodontic residency training at Indiana University, honing her expertise and building a solid foundation in the field. Dedicated to providing exceptional care, Dr. Twiggs strives to understand and meet each patient's unique needs and smile goals with meticulous attention to detail and a compassionate approach. She finds immense joy in building connections with her patients and witnessing the confidence boost a beautiful smile can bring. Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Twiggs is deeply committed to her community and actively contributes to various local initiatives. She also enjoys practicing yoga, exploring new destinations through travel, attending concerts, and boating with her family.

Dr. Larsen grew up in Bentonville, Arkansas. He received his dental degree from LSU School of Dentistry in 2020. He then completed a residency in advanced general dentistry in Allentown, Pennsylvania. After completing research and exploring the world of orthodontics throughout dental school and his residency, Dr. Larsen committed to making orthodontics his lifelong passion. He went on to graduate from the LSU Orthodontic residency program in 2023. Dr. Larsen finds the ability to transform smiles and enhance patients' lives to be genuinely rewarding. Witnessing the positive impact orthodontic treatment can have on confidence and self-esteem is truly remarkable. The constant advancements in orthodontic technology and techniques keep him engaged and motivated to deliver the best possible care. When he's not creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Larsen loves spending time with his wife, Mary, and their children, Luci and Remi. You will often find them out on a hiking trail or watching a football game.
