I've been retired since 2012, and when Anne finally decided to retire this year, she mentioned that she wanted to go to Scotland for longer this time, maybe three months. I'm usually up for just about anything, especially anything about travel. So, of course, I said "OK. Let's do it."... We started to look into the details. We couldn't afford to live in hotels for three months. And besides, that wouldn't be giving us the "hands on" approach that we wanted.
