Anna Rowcliffe

Mrs. Rowcliffe is one of our Kindergarten teachers, and has experience teaching PreK and kindergarten at BCS. She graduated from Colorado Christian University with a degree in early childhood education. Mrs. Rowecliffe and has 9 years total experience teaching children from preschool-1st grade. She's lived in the GJ area for the past 5 years and enjoys time with family, coffee, teaching, and following God. We're thankful the Lord brought her to BCS to lovingly teach and lead our kinders.

Becky Osborne

Hello, my name is Becky Osborne, I will be teaching second grade this year. I was born and raised in Grand Junction. My husband and I met while in High School, we will have been married for 12 years this September. We have two children; Emily is 8 and is in 4th grade this year and Lucas who is 5 and in 1st grade. As a family we love to spend time together. This summer we spent a lot of time in our backyard; swimming, BBQing and swinging. I graduated from CMU in 2012 with a degree in Elementary Education and an emphasis in Mathematics. I taught for six years with Mesa County Valley School District as a Kindergarten teacher then as a substitute teacher. When my daughter started Pre-K at BCS, I felt God was telling me that I needed to be a part of this school. When an opening became available I jumped on it. This will be my fifth year teaching at BCS. I have loved every minute of this journey and I am still so happy to be a part of the BCS family and I can't wait to spend another year learning and growing with your kiddos.

Hello! My name is Holly Anthony and I am the Preschool Director at Bookcliff Christian Preschool. I have worked here in the classroom and the office for a total of sixteen years. My husband and I have been married for 11 years. My husband owns a business called Oopsie Poopsy Pooper Scooper Services, and it has been very successful. Together we have a boy named Zander, who is in fourth grade at Bookcliff. Zander also attended Bookcliff Preschool and has pretty much grown up here. I have always felt a calling in my life to work with children and have been so blessed to be a part of Bookcliff Christian Preschool and School. I look forward to a great year and the opportunity to get to know each family. Our children are so important, and I'm thankful that we get to be a part of children's lives and their first step in learning.

Hello, my name is Josie Schleich (Mrs. S). I am a Grand Junction, Colorado native. I was blessed to be raised in a Christian home; my grandfather was our Church's pastor. I am very blessed with a beautiful family, and my husband of 28 years. I have been working in Early Childhood Education (in one form or another) for 20+ years. I attended a local Christian school myself as a child, and later my two children went to the same Christian school (that I also worked at) for many years. I understand the value in Christian education and am so thankful to be a part of the Bookcliff Christian School family!

Hi there! My name is Julie Tennyson and I am teaching Music this year! I love being a part of the Bobcat family and I can't wait to share my passion for music and Jesus with you! I have been a Grand Junction resident for fourteen years. I moved here to study music at Colorado Mesa University (Mesa State at the time) and graduated with my bachelors in 2010. When I first moved here, I got involved with Fellowship Church and met Jesus! He completely changed my life. I met my husband and I felt the calling to ministry. I have been an Associate Worship Pastor at Fellowship for ten years and I absolutely love it! This will be my second year at Bookcliff and I am eager to help build a solid foundation in Jesus and teach excellence in music theory and technique. My hope is to cultivate a love for music that will be carried throughout a lifetime! I am super excited to be teaching your kids music!

Kassie Overton

Greetings BCS families! My name is Kassi Overton and I have been with the BCS family for the last two years. I have had the privilege to work with the beloved preschoolers and have enjoyed every minute of being a part of their academic and spiritual growth. This year I am excited, honored, and humbled, to still be a part of this family and spend another great year here as one of the kindergarten teachers! For those of you who may not know me, I would like to share a little about myself and my family. I am a native of Wyoming, and my family and I came to the Grand Valley fourteen years ago. My husband and I are blessed with a beautiful son who just turned fourteen years old and will be in the eighth grade this year. We love to spend time together hiking and participating in many other outdoor activities every chance we get! We also love spending time with our beloved church family. My husband is a deacon at our church, and we have been teaching God's word to the youth group for the past four years. It was through this beautiful experience that I recognized that God has given me the desire and has called me to teach his children.

Aloha, my name is Kennilyn Wright (everyone calls me Kenni), and I am originally from the Big Island of Hawaii. My family and culture is so beautiful, and I thank God everyday for where I came from and who God placed in my life. My journey started in Hawaii with the opportunity to attend a Christian school that taught me amazing Godly values, principles and leadership. With the teaching that I received I was able to apply what I learned to public education and sports for the remainder of my high school years. My favorite sports are basketball, volleyball, and track. My gifts that God has blessed me with that I utilize are counseling, advising, mentoring, coaching, leadership and a heart for missions and community. I have a servant's heart, and I love encouraging people to find their passion in life and to look for opportunities that God reveals to do his work in the lives of others! My husband, Scott, and I met at Mesa State on the volleyball court, and we've been playing ball ever since. I love that God has abundantly blessed our marriage and life. Our son Logan is the light of our life who has recently graduated from high school, and is now going on to Colorado Mesa University to become a nurse. We love to spend time together in the outdoors, family get-togethers, watching movies, playing sports, and out in the ocean and lake. God is definitely the center of our lives in everything we do. My most treasured times are sunrises and sunsets when I get to spend one-on-one time with God. I have four degrees from a certificate to a master's degree in school counseling. For nearly seven years, I worked for Mesa County School District 51 as a School Counselor for two schools. Other work experiences include ministry, serving and management experience in restaurant business, and working for Ariel Clinical Services as a Family Engagement Facilitator. Being able to serve with a team in Africa to do mission work was amazing and humbling. I coached for Western Colorado Volleyball Club for at least three years and enjoyed coaching with my husband Scott which was truly an honor to do something I love with my soul mate.

Kristin Pingleton

Kristin Pingleton graduated from SAGU in December of 2000 with a bachelor's in Elementary Education and a bachelor's in Cross-cultural Ministry, she returned to Mesa County and served as a substitute teacher and a youth leader in her home church. This is when she met her husband, Eugene, who is also a teacher, in D51. They have been married for 19 years now and have two sons, 11 and 15, who have both gone through school at Bookcliff Christian School (BCS). Kristin has taught at BCS for eigtheen years, teaching kindergarten, first and second grade, and combinations of those grades. She was also interim principal from March of 2017 to November of 2018. Kristin has known she belonged at BCS from the moment she walked through the door for her first interview. She loves the fact that BCS stays centered on Christ, Truth, and bringing others into a deeper relationship that glorifies Him. The Christian family at BCS has also been her joy to experience.

My name is Laura Sikes. I have 14 years of experience as a preschool teacher at Bookcliff Christian Preschool. Working at Bookcliff gives me the incredible opportunity to partner with parents and help their children learn truth, and develop positive values they can build on for the rest of their lives. I appreciate being able to teach Bible stories, hear children say memory verses and share with them about God's love. Getting to know the children and see their personalities, understanding, and abilities develop as I work with them through the year is truly a blessing. As a mother of four, I realize the awesome privilege parents are entrusting to us. I strive to help each child grow to their full potential by providing opportunities to explore, discover, build friendships, overcome challenges and celebrate their achievements.

Lisa Carozza

Lisa Carozza has been teaching at BCS since 2013. She completed her B.A. in Early Childhood Education at Colorado Christian University. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, their 3 children, and beloved miniature-schnauzer named Emmy! Together, they also enjoy traveling and riding ATV trails in the Colorado mountains. One of her favorite bible verses is Philippians 2:5-11.

Rhiannon Stockert

Rhiannon Stockert has been teaching at Bookcliff Christian school since 2016. She has taught almost every grade from Kindergarten through Middle School. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Colorado Mesa University in 2009 and holds a teaching license through the State of Colorado. Rhiannon and her husband, Brandon, have fostered and adopted 3 children. Her daughters, Jaime and Sophie, attend BCS, and her son, Samuel, is in a special needs program in D51. Her husband has been a mathematics teacher in D51 since 2005 and is also a wrestling coach and an athletic director. Rhiannon loves to spend time with her family and has a passion for history, classic literature, Christian fiction, and studying God's Word. Hymns hold deep meaning for her, a few favorites being "In Christ Alone" and "Come, Thou Fount." When she can get away, the mountains call loudest. "I am committed to teaching students how to filter what they see in the world through the lens of Scripture, as well as what it means to glorify the Lord in all areas of life."

Sherri Randall

Hello BCS families! My name is Sherri Randall and I am so very excited to be joining the BCS team! I am the lucky wife of Mr. Brecken Randall and the proud mother of three extraordinary children, Lilliana (14), Jasmine (12), and Damien (9). I was raised in an Army family (Hooah!), but have done most of my growing up here in Grand Junction. We absolutely love it here. We spend our free time doing the usual Colorado activities: camping, fishing, hiking, etc. We also enjoy adventuring in the clouds in my parents' small bush plane. Additionally, we are avid mountain bikers and hit the trails as often as possible. I love the beautiful outdoors so much that I recently obtained a bachelor's degree in geology with a minor in geographic information science. I plan to continue my education by earning a master's degree online while I work at this remarkable school, serving all of you wonderful people. Like many of you, the Lord has led me through countless trials of life and I am ever so grateful to be saved and redeemed. I am truly looking forward to serving you and your children in the coming years.

Tobey Williams

Tobey is the Senior Pastor at Bookcliff Baptist Church. He has been serving Southern Baptists for over forty years. He answered the call to ministry at the age of sixteen at Exchange Avenue Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK. He began is ministry there as Children's Bus Ministry Director while in high school. Since that time, he has served in various leadership positions in the church, association, state, and national convention. He moved to Colorado in 1992 and was ordained and licensed at Bookcliff Baptist Church in Grand Junction. Most of his ministry has been bi-vocational but has served full-time as Executive Pastor at Vista Grand Baptist Church in Colorado Springs. He as held many staff positions including Senior Pastor, Minister of Missions, Director of Family Ministries and Worship Pastor while being bi-vocational. He served as president and vice president in the Colorado Baptist General Convention .He also represented Colorado Baptists on the Executive Committee of the SBC. Tobey has been doing Transitional work and training for the past seven years on the Western Slope.
