We focus exclusively on (i) asset management for wealthy individuals and families and (ii) special investments for institutional clients, funds or other family offices... At DIF, we take an opportunistic approach to investing. That means we constantly follow the best opportunities in the market, and due to our size, we can rapidly change focus to respond to changing market conditions... In recent years, we have been particularly focused on the credit market, especially ABS (asset-backed securities), CDOs (collateralized debt obligations) and balance-sheet CDOs. We've found attractive risk/return conditions in these areas, especially when compared to direct investment grade- and high yield- investments.
