JOHN DOWNS

John Downs was started by John Downs in 1873 so the company is nearly 150 years old. John worked for a builder's suppliers but one day ordered the wrong slates! Not for roofs but for children learning to read and write in classrooms. So he tried to sell them and John Downs Ltd was born. Over the last 150 years the stock of the company has changed and today we are a curtain accessory supplier to the trade and public... We are a very small company but that does mean we have got to know our customers very well. We try to provide an excellent customer service for everyone... We have a wide variety of curtain linings, interlinings, curtain heading tapes, roman blind items and curtain poles. We send free samples on many of our products.
