Carmel Carroll moved to Hobart from Ireland in 1995. She studied a Diploma in Beauty Therapy the same year and worked in various salons across Hobart. In 2005 she wanted to start her own salon, so created Lustre Beauty on her own. In 2006 she put on her first employee, Naomi, and they worked hard to establish Lustre's reputation, providing high quality, friendly service to customers. Over the following years the business grew to include Lustre Hair in 2008. Now employing 7 staff members across the hair and beauty sections of the business, Carmel and her team work hard to provide a premium service to their clients. Family is everything to Carmel and she travels to Ireland each year to visit her elderly mum. Her love for family and her wonderful staff at Lustre make it an inviting and friendly salon which all clients love. Lustre Hair and Beauty is a South Hobart based salon just a 5-10 minute walk from the CBD centre.
Carmel is the owner of Lustre Hair and Beauty. She founded Lustre Beauty in 2005, then took over Lustre Hair in 2008. She trained at the AABTH and has had her Diploma in Beauty Therapy since 1995. She is qualified in all aspects of beauty and specialises in gel nails, Shellac, facials including microdermabrasion and LED light treatment, pedicures and spray tanning. She enjoys tennis, badminton, working out and spending time with her family. Carmel works Mon 2-6, Thurs 9-8, Fri 11-6, Sat 11-4 (by appointment).
