Jay Eckhardt

Job Titles:
  • President - Elect
A (rare) Arizona native, I was born and raised in Scottsdale, graduated from Arizona State University, and grew up camping and fishing with my family throughout northeastern Arizona. Since my first lemonade stand, the entrepreneurial spirit has driven me. Initially, leading me abroad to run and operate an international marketing company with Fortune 100 clients; years later, back to Scottsdale to open and run a successful marketing agency for 16 years and counting, focusing on the luxury hospitality market; and now, to Show Low, Arizona to open RE/MAX Mountain Valley. What, for me, ties these, over 10 years in real estate sales, and other elements along my career path together-in addition to sales and marketing-is hospitality and customer service. Architecture and real estate are passions of mine, but my greatest pleasure is making clients happy-and knowing I've been able to help someone and take the worry and hassle out of real estate transactions-whether that's helping them find and purchase their ideal home, vacation/second home, mountain cabin retreat, acreage for building their dream, or helping sell their current home. When I'm not helping clients, you'll find me at one of many golf courses, in the forest on my RZR, or with my wife hiking in the mountains with our two dogs, at the lake kayaking, or cooking up-or eating-some great barbecue.

Linda Cedarblade

My name is Linda Cedarblade, Designated Broker of Torreon Realty. I have been selling Real Estate in the White Mountains since 2004, initially starting in new homes and development and then merging into resale, commercial and land. Originally from California, retiring from the Aerospace Industry to find myself in one of the most beautiful places in the world. I often hear from my clients, how lucky I am to live up here full time, I can't agree with them more. My husband and I have two grown children. One who lives here in Show Low who has spent the last 8 years in Alaska and the other currently lives in Guam. I joined the White Mountain Board of Directors because I wanted to know what they did and how they did it. There are so many moving parts to our local association, they offer so much, aside from the time and dedication that is involved.
