Sally came to marketing communications from journalism. She honed her skills in the newsroom of the Washington Post. A career as a freelance feature writer was followed by account management and supervisory roles at top Madison Avenue firms including the legendary Carl Byoir & Associates; Creamer Dickson Basford; and Ketchum. She was PR director for the SoHo-based fashion group Vogue-Butterick. Sally earned a B.A. in American Studies from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. She is from Deephaven, Minnesota.
