Andrea serves as the Foundation's Office Manager. She handles office administration duties including coordinating and assisting with arrangements for meetings and conferences, assisting with the preparation of board and committee materials, and providing general insurance information to staff. She is responsible for the Foundation's personnel/payroll/benefits, the processing of expense reports for staff, board members, and/or consultants, and accounts payable and check processing.
Andrea graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in political science with a focus in American politics and policy, along with a minor in intelligence and national security.
Throughout her studies, Andrea succeeded in being placed on the Dean's List for her academic achievements all four years she attended UCF. She was also member of the National Society of Leadership and Success where she directed her small group meetings.

Donny has served on various state and local bar committees, some of which include the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure Committee (chair 2002-2003), the Florida Code and Rules of Evidence Committee (chair 2008-2009), the Florida Rules of Judicial Administration Committee, Professionalism Committee, Florida Pro Bono Legal Services Committee (chair, Rules subcommittee), Florida Bar Grievance Committee for the Fourth Judicial Circuit "B" (chair 2014), and JALA's Guardian Ad Litem and Pro Bono Committees. Donny also served as chair of JALA's Board of Directors from 1998 - 2000 and currently continues to serve on the JALA Foundation board of directors.
Dominic C. "Donny" MacKenzie is the executive director of The Florida Bar Foundation. Appointed by the Foundation's board of directors in 2018, Donny serves as the chief executive officer of the Foundation. In conjunction with the board of directors, the executive director sets a vision for organizational development, oversees systems, structures and internal policies, and leads the Foundation in its mission of providing strategic support and funding for civil legal services. In his role as executive director, Donny is the chief spokesperson for the Foundation, representing the Foundation to internal and external audiences, conveying the vision of the Foundation and motivating staff and all stakeholders to work collaboratively to achieve the strategic goals of the Foundation.

As controller for The Florida Bar Foundation, Jasmine manages the organization's accounting operations in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and internal policies and procedures. This includes budgeting, auditing, accounts payable and receivable, fiscal administration of grants and Foundation and Endowment investments, general ledger and financial reporting. She is also responsible for corporate, tax and regulatory filings.
Prior to joining the Foundation's staff in 2005, she worked for a public accounting firm in Central Florida, where she has lived for over 27 years. Jasmine is a graduate of Pace University in New York City and received her master's in business administration from the University of Central Florida in 1991.

As director of communications for The Florida Bar Foundation, Jessica Brown is responsible for overseeing the organization's branding, media relations, publications, social media and website. She works to increase public awareness of the Foundation, its mission and its impact to generate support for the civil legal needs of Floridians who cannot afford an attorney. She ensures consistent and effective messaging from Foundation management, board members and partners, while supporting the communications needs of the development, grants and pro bono departments.
Prior to joining the Foundation in 2017, Jessica managed marketing and operations for Hospice University, an online educational platform for hospice professionals. She also worked as senior communications coordinator for Hospice of the Comforter, one of the largest nonprofit hospices in the country, where she advocated for hospice care by producing media kits and marketing plans, maintaining its website and chairing its Employee Charitable Fund.
Jessica graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a bachelor's of science in public relations.

"Lou Ann loved people, and she loved being around them, almost as much as she loved the Foundation," Donny MacKenzie, the Foundation's executive director, said. "She was a big part of the Foundation and served it well for 31 ½ years. We will miss her dearly."
Powell earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration/accounting from Bowling Green University in Ohio. Before joining the Foundation, she served as corporate controller for a real estate development and management company in Central Florida and as division controller for a restaurant chain.
Powell will be remembered for her three decades-worth of contributions to the Foundation, her mastery of the game of bowling, her kind-heartedness, and her love of cats.
Former Foundation president John Patterson, who was awarded the 2022 Medal of Honor in June, accepted the award on behalf of the access to justice community, specifically Powell. "She's always understood the necessity for integrity, accuracy and transparency in the finances of the Foundation. Lou Ann's hard work helped the Foundation grow and succeed, and her dedication to its mission will continue to inspire us. She will be remembered with fondness and respect by all who had the privilege of working with her."

A certified public accountant since 1980, Powell joined the Foundation in 1991 and oversaw its fiscal administration, including governance, finance and investments.

As the director of development for The Florida Bar Foundation, Michelle Fonseca serves as a member of the resource development team. She is responsible for donor recognition, retention and recruitment for annual, major and planned giving, the Fellows program, the campaign for Children's Legal Services, and the Kids Deserve Justice Specialty License Plate.
Prior to joining the Foundation in 2010, Michelle served as an administrative and member services associate at the Florida Philanthropic Network, which works to strengthen philanthropy through research, education and public policy.
