Anne Wernert

Job Titles:

Trainer - Anne has been teaching in the Rochester area for 37 years. She has an ABA from MCC and attended Meredith Manor School of Horsemanship receiving a Riding Master IV. She has also received advanced certification from the American Riding Instructors Certification Program. Anne teaches all levels of riding with students ranging in age from 6-60. She stresses correct form, safety and of course fun. Anne caters to the once a week rider, as well as those interested in horse showing at all levels.

Gail Miller

Owner/Head Trainer - Gail was raised on the farm. Riding was a passion that her mother helped her identify at a young age. Gail was fortunate to have many different horses all through school. She competed with her horses, and excelled at training and helping green horses find their potential. She enjoyed riding and competing in medal classes, and after college, settled into teaching lessons and training horses at the farm. Now, 40 years later, Gail still loves teaching and watching her students achieve awards all along the east coast.

Leslie Miller

Trainer - As a junior rider, Leslie competed at shows from HITS Ocala to Junior Hunter Finals to USEF Medal Finals. She piloted an off the track thoroughbred to a top five ranking nationally in the Large Junior Hunters. After her junior years, Leslie attended SUNY Geneseo. She graduated with honors in 2007 and received a B.S. in Accounting. During her four years at Geneseo she was an active member on the Intercollegiate Team, she also graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with her M.B.A in 2009. Since graduating, Leslie has split her time working as a CPA and training and competing during the summer. In spring 2015, Leslie began working at Lehman Farm's full time. She focuses on training young horses, students for rated competitions, and running the barn's interscholastic team.

Paula Barker

Barn Manager - Paula grew up in Greece, NY with her parents and four sisters. She graduated from Hilton Central High in '85, and worked as a Nanny until starting her job at Lehman Farms in September of 1990. Paula's primary role is to take care of the horses at Lehman Farms. She also assists customers when necessary. She has learned a lot over the 20-plus years that she has worked for the farm, and finds that there is always something new to learn.
