TAILOR-MADE GOLF TOURS - Key Persons

Des Rushe has been playing golf for 30 years and is a member of Athlone Golf Club for the past 20. Having hit single figures two years ago his main golfing ambitions are to play Carnoustie and remain a better golfer than his great friend and main golfing rival Peter. His favourite courses are Belmullet, Glashedy, Esker Hills and Royal Dornoch. He has played golf extensively in Scotland and in Sweden where he lived for 2 years.

Gerardine (Ger) Lynch has been playing golf for 15 years and is a member of Gort Golf Club. Having lived in Sweden and Canada for over seven years she enjoys an international flavour to her golf. Playing off a comfortable 18 handicap her favourite links is Connemara and Portumna tops he parkland choice with it's roaming deer, foxes and ducks. Her main golfing ambition is to be the last one standing at the 19th!!

Peter O'Sullivan has played golf for 30 years and is also a member of Gort. After years between a 10 and 12 h'cap his breakthrough to single figures in 2003 scratched one of his golfing ambitions off the list. Other golfing ambitions include developing a fool-proof putting technique and to watch Europe win the Ryder Cup in the K-Club in 2006. He has been a member of seven golf clubs in Ireland, Belgium, England, Sweden and Canada. His favourite links course is Belmullet. His favourite overseas destination is Scotland with Machrihanish topping the list there.
