THE ISLAND HOTEL - Key Persons
Being one of the first members of The Island family, since the very first year of hotel operation, I am privileged to have gained a lot of experience and knowledge of all food and beverage departments operations, as well as in the field of purchasing, cost control and handling all aspects of F&B departments. I am responsible for providing the best quality goods, for placing orders and monitoring delivery dates, dealing with food & beverage suppliers, providing internal audits and preparing monthly inventories.
I am the head chef of The Island Hotel. I have obtained my experience by working in several 5* hotels, which have taught me to become a chef whom represents the Cretan culture and philosophy. My passion is to combine the pure, Cretan products with other cuisines, in order for our guests to have the opportunity to experience the full, tasteful and rich flavours that we and Crete can offer.
My job is to make sure that the computer and network systems of the hotel are operational 24/7. I am also responsible for the digital presence of the hotel (Websites & SEO, Social Media, MSE, etc.), for reviewing your feedback and for responding to guest reviews and questionnaires.
I am the Housekeeper of The Island hotel. After several years of experience at The Island as a chambermaid I became the Housekeeper. My main responsibilities are to deliver a high level of services, inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure that quality services are in accordance with the company's standards, as well as the recruiting and coaching of the chambermaids.
I am one of the latest members of The Island team. I am working here as an Accountant. I have gained experience from working in a busy department and I am assisting in the activities of the accounts department with specific responsibilities for the effective, efficient and accurate processing of supplier invoices for timely payment, book-keeping and personnel payroll.
