Derek Scotton

Derek has worked for Harvest Healthcare in a number of capacities over the past 10 years. Prior to Harvest he has been involved in teaching, training, counselling and business support for over 40 years. This has given him a real insight into how people learn and how to help them progress. Helping students, business managers and staff to achieve their aims and reach their potential has been a consistent theme throughout Derek's professional experience. He believes both success and failure can be steps to personal improvement and progress, he helps people to gain the most insight from both to build up confidence and not to be afraid of making a mistake at work or other situations. Seeing a person become successful and overcoming previous problems is very satisfying and rewarding for Derek.

Lauren Davis - Chief Commercial Officer

Lauren joined Harvest Healthcare in 2019. Coming from a clinical background she has spent time in previous roles training sales teams and creating literature and web content, and is excited to be leading the sales and marketing departments at Harvest. Vibrant and energetic, Lauren firmly believes in leading from the front and likes to be actively involved in projects of all shapes and sizes.

Melissa Howle

I have been working at Harvest Healthcare since 2016 and have been in several roles. I started in Customer Service, where I spent two years before moving into the servicing department as a team leader. After a year as team leader I became the service manager, the role I am in now. My journey through the business means I really understand our customers, and I hope to bring this knowledge and passion to my team. I am looking forward to the challenges of leading such an excellent service team into further success. In my spare time I enjoy travelling in our VW camper van with my partner and three children, and also enjoy photography and snowboarding.

Neil Davis - Managing Director

Neil joined Harvest in February 2017 as Managing Director, having successfully grown several industrial businesses at home and abroad. His focus is on developing a team of people capable of consistently meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers, through product innovation, responsive service, and integrity. Outside of work Neil plays guitar in a (very) amateur rock band and is a fair-weather mountain biker. He lives in Sheffield, and likes to see the world with his wife of 33 years.

Oskar Solvason - COO

Oskar joined Harvest in December 2018 as an Operation Manager. Born and raised in Iceland, Oskar's Viking genes were triggered and he set out to explore the world, ending up in South Yorkshire over a decade ago. After finishing his master's degrees in Supply Chain Management and later an MBA, both from Sheffield Hallam University, he has worked on the Operations side of Manufacturing for the past ten years. Motivation and employee engagement are very close to Oskar's heart and he believes that these are vital for a set structure and well-defined processes. Outside of work, Oskar is a keen runner and loves spending time with his family.

Tim Woods - CFO

Tim Woods joined the team in April 2013 as Financial Controller. Having achieved qualification as a Chartered Accountant with an independent firm of accountants in Sheffield, he has worked with SMEs in South Yorkshire and made the move into industry. Over the last 15 years he has gained experience working for multinational companies and used this experience in developing the accounting function at Harvest Healthcare. Tim ensures that Harvest uses its working capital as efficiently as possible whilst supporting the management team with accurate and timely information. Outside of work Tim has two young children which take up most of his time. He lives in Sheffield and is a keen Sheffield Wednesday fan.
