BW WHIFFIN & CO - Key Persons
Denise started her career working for a firm providing company secretarial services. She then joined a London accountancy practice as Company Secretarial manager and qualified as a Chartered Secretary in 1991. Since joining B W Whiffin & Co in 1999 Denise has taken on an ever expanding role and as well as managing the company secretarial work handles bookkeeping, accounting and payroll for a number of clients.
Janet handles the payroll processing for our clients as well as assisting Paul with the bookkeeping work we undertake for clients.
Despite being the youngest member of the team Paul has been here longer than any of us having joined the firm in 1990. Paul has gained a wealth of experience in general accounts and tax matters and has an excellent knowledge of accountancy software and in particular QuickBooks. As well as overseeing the bookkeeping work we undertake for clients Paul manages his own portfolio of clients.
Richard trained with a medium sized London accountancy practice and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1992, after a year or so working as a manager in a practice in Harlow he joined B W Whiffin & Co as a partner in 1996. Richard's experience both with B W Whiffin & Co and his previous roles means he has a broad range of knowledge and expertise in accounting matters and general tax advice.
Steve qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant with a large international practice in 1994. He then gained a wealth of experience working for a number of London based practices before becoming a director of Elman Wall, an independent boutique practice. Steve joined B W Whiffin & Co as a director in 2009 and with over 30 years of working in the accountancy sector has a wide knowledge of accountancy and taxation matters.
