She loves to explore Sherwood Pines and wandering deep into the forest where few people go…(there's even a secret Christmas Tree plantation)

  • General Manager
  • General Manager at Sherwood Forest
Our General Manager Ben can be found enjoying a quiet morning walk on the many trails on our doorstep at Sherwood Pines. His favourite place to visit in the local area is Welbeck Estate and Harley Café. He believes that Forest Holidays breaks offer seclusion and peace, whilst still offering fun services and activities for all. Ben's favourite place to eat in the local area is the Rose Cottage. The rarest wildlife sighting he has seen while working at Sherwood Forest is the wild deer pinching the apples from his back garden!

Emily Bowes

Job Titles:

Her favourite place to visit in the local area is Puzzlewood, an ancient magical woodland where popular films have been filmed. Emily enjoys exploring Symonds Yat and Mailscot Forest Trail and her rarest wildlife sighting is Peregrine Falcons.

Hannah Gray

Job Titles:
  • Forest Retreat Manager
You'll find Hannah busy working in the Forest Retreat or helping out and about on location. Her favourite place to visit in the local area is The Seal Colony at Ravenscar followed by a bite to eat at the Graze on the Green, Rosedale. Hannah's rainy-day of choice would be to snuggle up with a good film, hot chocolate, snacks and listen to the rain. Her favourite forest fact would be that Fly Agaric Mushrooms don't grow with white spots, they grow with a white veil, this then bursts and creates the white spotted appearance.
