Oakdown House is a residential care home for adults with learning disabilities. Established in 1986, we have many years of experience in supporting residents to live a full and valued life as independently as possible. Person- centred care plans combined with key-worker input and great communication enable our staff to develop an awareness of each individuals needs. We support all of residents to fully participate in making choices about their care, within the safety and security of a residential service... Oakdown House provides a full and varied timetable of activities and opportunities including use of our IT and Sensory equipment. Music sessions & gardening clubs are hugely popular at Oakdown, as is our Summer ‘Open Day' and Christmas parties. Our dedicated day service team also assist residents to attend activities within the community including college courses as well as paid or voluntary employment.
