Dr Peter Tucker

Dr Peter Tucker has an independent clinical neuropsychology assessment practice as expert witness. He has provided assessments for litigation describing extent of injury, causality, prognosis and recommendations for treatment. Dr Tucker is a member of the senior clinical team at Recolo UK Ltd as the Research & Development Lead. He is currently conducting research into improving outcome measurement in neuropsychological rehabilitation. He is also a clinical supervisor and in ongoing clinical rehabilitation practice. He has honorary contracts at the University of Bath and University of Bristol providing research supervision and teaching. Dr Tucker qualified as a Clinical Psychologist at the University of Birmingham in 2001, then obtained a PG Diploma in Applied Clinical Neuropsychology at Kings College London in 2004. He previously worked as neuropsychology lead for Young People's Neurorehab at the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases NHS in Bath.

Dr Phil S. Moore

Dr Moore is a Consultant Neuropsychologist and a Clinical Psychologist. He is Health Care Professions Council registered and has fifteen years experience working in Clinical Psychology in the NHS. He has a degree in psychology, post graduate qualifications in mental health and psychotherapy, a doctorate in clinical psychology and a post doctorate qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology. His work includes leading an acquired brain injury and stroke service in North Devon and experience of inpatient and community neuro-rehabilitation services in Exeter. He was appointed as a Consultant Neuropsychologist at the Royal Devon and Exeter hospital on a randomised controlled trial for medication aiming to delay mild cognitive impairment. He has taught the doctoral trainee Clinical Psychologists at both Exeter University and Plymouth University, and recently also became a ‘special medical visitor' on behalf of the Lord Chancellor for the Court of Protection. His specialist neuropsychology role means that he regularly assesses patients with cognitive impairment for the purposes of medical-legal matters. He produces approximately 50-60 expert witness neuropsychological reports per year for claimant and defence.

Dr Stuart Anderson

Previously Lead Consultant Neuropsychologist and Head of Speciality in the Stroke and Neurosciences Directorate of the Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, Dr Anderson has independent practice interests in the UK and Channel Islands. He sees a range of patients and has a special interest in mild traumatic brain injury, ADHD, neuro-oncology, and COVID-19-related cognitive difficulties. He also provides services to the insurance, rehabilitation, and aviation industries.

Dr Vikki Hunkin

Dr Hunkin is a HCPC registered, Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist. She is listed on the British Psychological Society Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists and holds the Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology - the "Gold Standard" qualification which signifies the highest level of skill and expertise in the field of neuropsychology. Educated at the Universities of Oxford, Plymouth and Bristol, she has extensive experience as an NHS Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist working with patients across brain injury care pathways, from inpatient work to outpatient settings. Her main area of expertise is the assessment and treatment of disorders which cause cognitive, emotional and behavioural problems. This includes: acquired brain injury, mild brain injury and post-concussion syndrome; stroke and brain haemorrhage; dementia and other neurodegenerative condition; and long-term neurological conditions. Dr Hunkin provides expert, objective assessment of neuropsychological functioning. She has clinic rooms in Redruth, Cornwall, or she can travel to the claimant's base in Cornwall, Devon or Somerset. She regularly undertakes assessments for the Courts, including cognitive assessment, assessment of mental capacity, and full neuropsychological assessment. She undertakes claimant, defendant and joint instructions. Dr Hunkin has training and experience in giving evidence in Court. She is a Trustee for Headway Cornwall and sits on the Board for the charity. She has appeared in the media commenting on psychological issues, including radio interviews. She is Associate Editor for a psychological journal which promotes the research of new and recently trained researchers.

Mark Beaumont

Mark played an integral role in establishing the membership of the Brain Injury Group when it launched in 2011. He became a director of the Group in 2013, and enjoys driving the new approach and strategy at such a key time for the sector. Prior to this, he developed a career in account management and business development, most recently at Just Cost Solicitors. As Client Services Manager, Mark had a focus on seminars and training, and raising awareness of alternative funding options. He also worked closely with ATE legal expenses insurers, commercial litigation funders and other businesses that support the legal services sector. Mark is also a co-founder of Annecto Legal. Peter Davies

Peter Davies is the Managing Director of Davey Law Limited having worked for the Company (and its predecessor firms) for 35 years. A solicitor with vast experience, Peter sits as a Deputy District Judge in the County Court on the Midland Circuit. Peter specialises in handling catastrophic personal injury and clinical negligence claims. He is a member of the Law Society's specialist Personal Injury accreditation scheme; a senior litigator with APIL (the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers); is recognised by Headway, the Brain Injury Association, as a panel solicitor and is a trustee of a local Headway support group in Gloucester. Peter's main aims in every claim are to ensure his client's financial security in order to fund the accommodation, care and support needed for their future wellbeing. Peter also acts as a financial deputy and a health and welfare deputy when appropriate. Away from work, Peter is passionate about rugby (regularly watching his beloved Wales and Gloucester) and cricket. He enjoys cycling, running and spending time with his family and friends. Peter's successes include £2.25M recovered for a child left with brain damage following an accident at retail premises and£1.2M secured for a child born with cerebral palsy in a claim against an NHS trust.

Sally Dunscombe - COO

Sally brings a wealth of operational management and strategic guidance from a career spanning 30 years to the network. She looks after the day to day management of the Group. She is also the Operations Director for Annecto Legal, a firm that specialises in commercial litigation funding, offering free advice to individuals and businesses seeking to minimise both the costs and financial risks of taking legal action.
