Adam Webb

​Adam joined MPI in 1990 and has executive accountability for bid management as well as maintaining the company's quality and environmental systems. As a member of the senior management team, he is responsible for developing policies, procedures and documented information, ensuring regulatory and statutory compliance and for key client liaison. He is also tasked with ensuring that the benefits of working with MPI are communicated effectively through pre-sales activities including formulating proposals, leading presentations and negotiations. Over the years, Adam has worked hard to ensure our services continue to meet the requirements of our customers and has helped to drive change throughout the business by developing and implementing modern recruitment systems and practices, which in turn have assisted MPI in setting itself apart from its competitors. He developed and maintains MPI's ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 environmental management systems and steered the aviation division to transitioning to AS9100D 14 months before the deadline. Adam has over 30 years of expertise in the recruitment sector, including business strategy and development, multi-location operations management, key account management, marketing, quality and training and development. He is qualified in management and business performance coaching and lectured in management and HR practices for over 15 years.

Andy Eggleton

​Andy is an aircraft engineer by trade and his first experience with MPI was as a contractor which gives him a unique understanding of the industry. Andy worked for many years with various engineering skills for MPI and others predominantly with airlines.

Colin Green - VP of Sales

​With an engineering base and qualifications in the Electronics and Automotive sectors Colin joined MPI in 1987 as a Recruitment Consultant at MPI's Head Office in Hertford. Having worked successfully supplying MPI's established clients, his reputation for supporting clients in an efficient and friendly manner enabled a natural development of new business. Within 2 years he was asked to open a new regional office in Telford becoming the Branch Manager. Colin's enthusiasm developed a new handpicked dynamic team in the office and new client accounts laying the foundations till the office became a successful stand alone business supplying companies such as British Rail Engineering Limited and British Aerospace up and down the country. He was appointed Director in 2000 relocating back to Head Office . Specialising in expanding our Rolling Stock and Aviation client base to include Train Operating Companies, Airlines and Maintenance Repair Organisations. Colin has been a key driver of the development of our verification and competence systems. He is also well known for embracing change and is relentless in the continual improvement of the MPI services to both our clients and contractors . Above all, Colin has a straight forward, clear approach to business with a focus on long term client satisfaction.

Gemma Newby

​Gemma joined MPI in 1998 and during her time with MPI has been involved with all aspects of the recruitment side of the business including account management, business development, setting up trainee and apprenticeship schemes, development and managing competence management processes and development of the fixed price signalling project delivery teams. She is an influential and accomplished operations specialist whose drive and energy has enabled strategic growth for MPI in contingent labour and professional and technical labour and she was promoted to Operations Director in 2018. Gemma is passionate about the environment in which she sends people to work in and ensuring that they return to their place of rest, safe, every day is priority. She believes that by simplifying complexity ensures MPI can mobilise quickly to best support our clients and workers. Her ‘Can Do' outlook coupled with a positive attitude and exceptional organisational skills ensure MPI delivers the best possible outcome, on time and in budget. She strives to influence decision makers and build strong, effective stakeholder relationships. During her time at MPI she has developed their social media presence to what it is today, supports Women in Rail to build an inclusive network, she also supported MPI to develop an environmental management system, manage their RISQS, Builders Profile, Construction Line, UVDB and Sell to Wales portfolios. Gemma has developed MPI's internal apprenticeship scheme which has been highly successful so far. She says the thing she is most proud of is being able to work with the team at MPI, enabling them to grow and make the most of their potential which underpins the success of MPI.

Sarah Grant

​Sarah Joined MPI as Payroll Assistant in 1989, working as part of a team of four. As the company grew, so did the Payroll team and over time Sarah became Payroll Supervisor and subsequently, Manager. In 2013 Sarah was promoted to Director and her role began to move in a new direction. She became responsible not just for the Payroll team, but for the entire financial area of the business, to include the Accounts and Credit Control Departments. With time, her position became that of Finance Director. In the years since, Sarah has overseen and implemented a number of statutory changes, to include Pension Auto Enrolment, Intermediaries Reporting Legislation and Off Payroll Working in the Public Sector. 2020 will see the roll-out of Off Payroll Working into the private sector, and Sarah will be working alongside Gemma Newby, Operations Director, and other key members of staff to ensure a smooth roll-out for clients, candidates and internal staff alike. Sarah is very proud to work for a company that believes in promoting from within. Not only has it proved invaluable for her personally; it means that the relationships at senior management level have been built over many years, with a wealth of experience brought to each new venture.

Simon joined MPI from School in 1995 as a trainee recruiter working in the Aviation Broadcast, Electronics and Telecommunications sectors from the Head office in Hertford as well as being seconded to the Telford, Cambridge and Bristol offices.

Ted Pearson - Chairman

Ted joined MPI in 1984 as a recruitment consultant and during the following years recruited for companies such as Mercury Communications, the BBC, Cray Communications and British Aerospace. Dedicated to the company from the beginning he was even known to ride his bike round London to make sure paperwork was delivered to clients and candidates on time. Ted was promoted to Personnel Manager in 1994 and then appointed to the board in 1999 taking more responsibility for company policies and employment law issues. He then became managing director of MPI Limited and MPI Aviation Limited in 2004 taking overall responsibility for all MPI companies as a result. After several successful years of growing the company Ted decided in 2018 to move into the position of chairman and continue MPI's legacy of encouraging new talent and promotion from within by creating the new management director team.
