I own two GoPro cameras. One is a GoPro 3 Silver that I've owned for a few years, which was bought to do time lapse. It's been pretty good and taken many thousands of shots and contributed towards several minutes of time lapse video. Recently, it's found itself dangling from a large kite, being used for low tech aerial photography... The other is a GoPro 4 Black. It was bought for slow mo, but is a significantly more capable camera than it's older brother so has been used for all sorts, including star gazing.
