Tony arrived in Arizona in August of 1969, straight from the Republic of Vietnam after serving a year tour. Tony was stationed at Headquarters - US Army Security Agency - Test and Evaluation Center, Ft. Huachuca, Az. until his Honorable Discharge in December 1971. In July of 1970, Tony and his wife started up the A & M Waalkens Insurance Agency and later changed the name to the D.B.A., "Arizona Financial Services". Tony is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a B.S. degree in Finance and Insurance. He is a recipient of the National Quality and the National Sales Achievement awards and is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table.
