Beside these , we have conducted various training programs for the students, teachers, youths and women viz. Youth Leadership and Personality Development Training Program, Gender Sensitive Development Training Program for the Minority Women, Soft Skills Training program, Basic Computer Training Programme for Backward Classes, Vocational Training Programs for the Minority Women. Awareness generation programs are also conducted where the needs raised, such as Mother and Child Health, Health and Hygiene of Adolescent girls, HIV/AIDS, Anti-Tobacco Campaigning, Communal Harmony as a peace-keeping initiative... Now, BIRD works as a human rights promoting NGO. Rights-based issues are our first priority. For making public opinion and consulting with the local public representatives on the local rights-based issues, we have organized some programs in street-corners on World Human Rights Day...
