CargoNet's head office is located at Schweigaardsgate 23 in Oslo. CargoNet AS is a train operator with the necessary certificates to operate freight trains in Norway and Sweden. Previously, terminal operations were separated into a separate subsidiary, Railcombi AS, but this was merged into CargoNet AS in 2020. The company is the majority owner of the wagon company Tømmervogner AS... CargoNet AS is a part of the Vy-group and has been licenced to operate freight trains in Norway and Sweden since the company was established in 2002.
