In 1990, I visited friends in Eureka & rented an apartment for the summer, promptly falling deeply in love with my landlord, Max Elbo,... By the end of the summer we were engaged; I returned to Redondo Beach, CA, to pack & move! We were married the following summer in a lovely outdoor setting near Beaver Lake, & celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary on June 21, 2016...
