Rick and Dave conceived the Firesled in 2004. It was drawn on a napkin and brought to reality by a professional fitness equipment manufacturer in North Carolina. Once the Firesled was beta tested and tweaked a bit, a utility patent was applied for and awarded. U.S. Patent number 7416412.
