FISHGUARD VETS - Key Persons

Andrew Clemence

Andrew is the sole owner of Fishguard Vets. He graduated from Glasgow University in 1986 and moved to Pembrokeshire in 1988. He has built a large client base, with some travelling the whole county and beyond for his expertise. Andrew enjoys any challenges that mixed practice brings and is at home carrying out dairy herd fertility, first opinion equine or undertaking technical medical or surgical small animal cases. His biggest achievement to date was constructing a purpose-built practice, which opened in September 2015. Pets owned: What hasn't he owned! Currently, he has chickens, a cat called Walter, a dalmatian Vera and a Boston Terrier Violet.

Angus Clemence

Born and bred in Fishguard, Angus qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 2016 and, after initially working at Fishguard Vets he moved to the Midlands to gain further mixed animal experience. The lure of Pembrokeshire and the chance to pursue his hobbies of surfing and waterskiing drew him back to Fishguard. Angus was excited to renew his relationship with our local clients and has great enthusiasm to involve himself in dairy herd fertility programmes, long term health planning on all farms, alongside developing his medical and surgical companion animal skills.
