Dr. Harsha E Thennarasu is a noted expert on Information Security & cyber security research space, with a passion for, and keen understanding of the subject. With a doctorate in Information Security, and armed with several professional certifications backed by a rich experience of over two decades, Dr Harsha has been a noted Speaker in several forums such as IT Security Risk Management - 2016, Digital Wallet India Summit 2017, Unicom Security Summits, Singapore Airports Cyber Security Summit 2017 as well as delivering guest lectures in several Colleges and Universities. He has been conducting corporate training on Information Security & Cyber Crimes Awareness.
Dr Harsha has also been a distinguished panellist in popular programmes such as PC Quest Enterprise Security Summit, 2014, Jury Member for NEXT100CIO Award 2014, etc., to name a few. He has also been the recipient of PC Quest Award", Business Excellence on IT Security - Award 2015, The Best Exhibitor & Business Excellency Award 2017 by Govt. of Karnataka in IT Security.
Dr Harsha has been associated with several Information Security initiatives of the Government of India , Corporates such as a Reviewer of the National Cyber Security policy. He has been a Technical Committee member of SIT, Techno-Legal Advisor. He has also been sought after by the Corporate Sector as a consultant, adviser and auditor. He has written several articles on e-Hacking, Ransomware , Zero Day Attacks, DDoS attacks and Security Designer and Lead Auditor for Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airports (T1, T2,T3) and Mumbai International Airports & Mumbai Metro in India and showcased it's vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies. He was security lead auditor for Aadhaar Enrolment Application, India's largest Citizenship Unique Identification Project (KA).
Dr Harsha has conducted numerous IT Security audits, such as Audits of IT Infrastructure, Servers, Applications, Networks, AWS Cloud Security Audits, SOC 2 Type 2 Audits, Data Centres, Web Servers, Advanced Cloud Security, Risk Assessment, etc. for various industries pan India and Overseas. Also part of Cyber Crime Investigations pan India and Overseas.
Dr. Harsha was the Cyber Security and IT Security Auditor for BOSCH , Sify, HATHWAY, AsiaNet Satellite Communications, Times Group, MS Ramaiah hospitals and Universities, Enzen Global, Kewaunee Internationals, ITC Maurya, Jagdale Industries, Target Data (USA), Nav Bharath ventures, MRPL with 250+ corporates globally.
Dr Harsha is a B. Sc., MCA., PGDCA., PGDCA(Advanced), PhD (Info Sec) degrees holder with numerous security certifications- MCSE, CCNA, CCSE, ISO 27001:20213 Lead Auditor, Advance Cloud Security Auditor CSA-STAR, Certified 10012:2017 & GDPR Implementer & Practitioner, etc.,)
