INTERCONNECT BILLING - Key Persons
Brendan is our founder and CEO with 30 years+ of experience in the telco billing sector. His first life was as Head of Billing and Collections across a range of European telcos. During this period, he bought interconnect billing systems - and saw how they could be dramatically improved. His second life was to found iCONX in 2001, as the first true innovator of a "cloud" type delivery model for interconnect billing, liberating carrier-grade solutions to be accessible to all tiers of customers worldwide as telco de-regulation advanced.
Dennis is an iCONX founder and the Chairman of the Board. He is an Internet Pioneer and a member of the Internet Hall of Fame. In recent years he has focused on investing in early-stage technology companies, on assisting entrepreneurs, and on corporate governance. He serves on a range of company boards and board committees. His career background is in computing and computer networking, and he studied Physics and has a PhD in Gamma-ray Astronomy. He is a music and opera enthusiast and serves on the Board of Governors of the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

Ger leads our professional services team at iCONX and is responsible for our customer projects, roadmap and operations schedule. With over 30 years in IT mainly in the billing and wholesale telecoms domain, Ger has been involved with a diverse range of projects for some of the leading telco brands. Ger has held various Support and Development Management roles within Telecoms.
Ger has deep technical and business experience in creating complex software products, working both for software vendors and on behalf of telecom operators. Ger has a BSC Honours degree in Computer Systems with Business from the University of Limerick.

Jonathan has been with iCONX since 2010. He has been working in the technology sector for over 20 years, and has significant expertise in building enterprise applications for the telecoms sector. As head of software development, Jonathan fosters best practices within our software development team. Establishing standards and processes, adopting modern tools and platforms to bring quality solutions to our customers.
Additionally, Jonathan promotes the adoption of new technologies, modern solutions design and architectures, driving innovation. With an MSc in AI, Jonathan is advancing our adoption of artificial intelligence technologies, providing advanced capabilities to our product suite.

iCONX founder Mike brings 25+ years of IT industry experience to our management team. Mike's primary business goal is to securely and reliably deliver the iCONX Cloud hosted solution to our customers worldwide, 24/7/365. Mike has a masters in IT Management (MSc) from Maynooth University and is ISACA CISM certified.
Mike also drives our information governance programmes, which are focused on data protection, information security, business continuity and service delivery. The iCONX governance programmes include ISO 27001(security), ISO 22301 (Continuity) and BS10012 (Privacy) certification for our entire business, alongside an AICPA SSAE18 Audit (Financial Integrity controls) covering our cloud-hosted solution.
Pa spent most of his early career in the Financial Services Industry, starting in Allied Irish Bank plc and then joining the Foreign Exchange Company of Ireland in 1981 as one of their first employees. That company became FEXCO, which today is probably one of the largest privately-owned financial services companies in Ireland with international operations in Asia, EMEA, the Americas and Australasia. Pa held various roles in the executive management team and was a director for over 25 years.

Rupert has been with iCONX since 2006. Rupert has 20 years of experience in telco revenue assurance and wholesale services in telecommunications. He has gained significant wholesale knowledge during this time and is a product SME (Subject Matter Expert) for interconnect billing and routing for wholesale voice and messaging traffic.
Rupert's expertise includes complex national interconnect agreements and settlements, including the BT RIO, which has a reputation for being the most complex agreement in the industry. He previously worked on the telco operator side, with O2/Telefonica mobile.

iCONX founding member Sacha has 20 years+ of industry experience, bringing a wealth of wholesale expertise from a telco career at top carriers in Europe and Australia. She is an experienced director, with a demonstrated history of working in software and cloud services in the telecommunications industry. Sacha has a bachelor degree in Finance and is a recent graduate in strategy from the Irish Management Institute.
As Director of Interconnect Services, Sacha is responsible for the interconnect business at iCONX. Sacha's team are experts in delivering billing, routing optimisation and fraud solutions in wholesale telecommunications. Sacha and her team are passionate in delivering success to our worldwide telco customers.
